This guy values you as more than just a friend. Listen to what he tells you and don't disappoint him. If you want to in a relationship with him, now would be a good time to show him you're interested.

It doesn't necessarily mean that. Maybe it's the truth. Maybe because you are friends, maybe he just feels comfortable with you. When Nick asked me out, he just went straight on saying I like you. And I liked him, too. So now we go out. Glad I could help.

Accept friendship here, but beware: It sounds to me like he'd be open to a physical relationship, but not a real emotional relationship. In other words, he'll take what he can get, but look elsewhere for the real thing. Do yourself a favor, just remain friends.
