Friend,

The very fact that there are millions of people believing in God and , going in that path is not proof enough that God exists?

What is the percentage of Atheists versus theists.

It it self is a proof.

For metaphysical matters , you have to try and find the proof, and there no experiment to conduct as for material things.

I've always wondered this too. Currently, I'm an agnostic. I'm not going to state that God doesn't exist because that would be a very foolish statement to make. No one can ever prove he doesn't exist. I believe there is a possibility that a God is out there, but it is highly unlikely. I feel that people believe in God because it gives them hope, and for some people, it gives them a reason to live. Believing that there is something out there that would love you no matter what would make anyone feel comforted. Some people are afraid of death, and believing there in an after life would help eliminate that fear. And then there are people who have had truly miraculous experiences and credit God for them, and believe that God blessed them with a miracle. When you don't believe, it all seems very foolish. But I never get down on people for believing in God. If a belief in God gives people hope and the strength to carry on with their lives, then why not let them believe that? So maybe they are a little delusional, maybe it is a little sad and pathetic, but if it helps them live a happy life, I say let it be that way.

Because people find comfort in beleiving in something rather than beleiving in nothing at all. They find it much easier to say well I woke up this morning because woke me up as opposed to taking the long route and explaining the real reason a person wakes up every morning. That and fear. I was talking to this guy on the train a few months ago and he asked me, how can a person not beleive in anything? Its just not possible.

That's true. The proof is all around you.

If one would open there mind to all possibilities, they would realize, that this existence is not coincidental. Tell me. If you look into space, and think. About the billions and billions of stars and galaxies and clusters there are. Virtually limitless. Can you honestly say.. it was an accident?

It's all because of faith. Ask a child who made the stars.
When they're told that God made the stars, they believe. They don't question it. That is faith, and though they're small, they have more faith in things then most will ever have. It's everything around us that corrupts our faith as we grow older.

There has been countless proofs made throughout the world's history and you need only look around you to see the proof. How much proof do you have from the so called scientist who can not even agree on what they think happened?

Look for the answers yourself without letting someone else tell you what the answer is. What you find out will surprise you.

Hope that helps.

No proof?!

What are you talking about?

Your heart beats from the time you are conceived until you die,

Sperm is so tiny that the human eye cannot see it, yet a whole baby complete with beating heart, lungs, liver etc. is born every few seconds.

People are dignose daily with terminal illness and that they will die in a few months, yet miraculously they don't.

The sun shines and gives us light and warmth

I could go on and on, because there are so many, many things that let us know that God does exist and He is the Living Fountain of Life for all that will accept Him.

God Bless You

Religions made up God

Actually there is more proof for the existence of God than there is for evolution. A person's belief in either one is based on faith.

'God' is the creation of all wars. More specifically, religion is the cause of all wars. Even more specifically belief is the cause of all wars. Even more specifically opinion is the cause of all wars.

People use god as an excuse to act like they know what cannot be understood.

People who say I believe him in my heart or mind or soul have been brainwashed by their parents and this so-called 'religion' that tells people how to act, speak, and think.

If nobody had told these people about 'God' then they certainly would not believe it, and if it wasn't for them being brainwashed by their parents or authority-figures they certainly would have not accepted it later in their lives.

If you say you believe 'God' in your heart what you are actually saying is you were taught to believe him.

If somebody from one side of the world was taught that stealing was o.k. then they would defend that belief down to its core.

If somebody else from another side of the world was taught that it was barbaric and wrong then, likewise, they would defend that belief.

Everything depends on your perception, and how you were taught.

We believe in God based on faith and the definition of faith is "belief that is not based on proof" We read the bible and pray and know that somewhere God is helping and guiding us.
