If you are mostly a quick and easy snapshot taker, the image stabilization feature is well worth the money and will save some image sharpness problems you might otherwise have.
If you are a bit more serious photographer who knows your camera and pays attention to properly handling it, it won't be such a big factor, but IS never hurt a picture, and $20 is a cheap price for additional image quality security.
Keep in mind though that IS will never solve all the poor sharpness problems created by an improperly handled camera. It is a nice feature to have, but not a magic unsharp picture cure.

$20 for real image stabilization (as found on the A570-IS) is a BARGAIN. This feature added $100 to the price of a camera just one year ago.

Get the a 570 without a doubt I mean it has IMAGE STABILIZation meaning no more blurry pictures and its just 20$ more this will help a lot.

Normally image stabilzation will cost like 60$ more get it.

I agree with Edwin and Dane - the image stabilization feature is well worth the extra twenty bucks.

My vote is for the A570 IS - because it has Image Stabilization (IS).
