A good girlfriend...
...communicates with you
...is trustworthy
...is understanding
...tries to give you the best
...is sincere
...appreciates him for who he is
...shows you respect
...shows you that she loves you with actions
...spends quality time with you
...could be herself around you
Basically a girl that loves you who will go through the hard times with you and is dedicated. Same goes with boyfriends.

A good girlfriend is the same as a good wife. She treats you with the respect that you deserve.......but you have to return that respect, too.
No relationship is a one-way street, no matter what the gold-diggers may think.
That failure of mutual respect and love is why so many relationships fail.
One person or the other in a relationship fails to live up to their end of the bargain and the relationship falls apart badly.
Be honest with each other. Both you and the girlfriend.
That also means being faithful to your partner and them being faithful to you.
Any girlfriend that doesn't do those simple things is no good, but that also depends on you doing those simple things with her as well.

well for starters, they are patient with you. they listen, be there when you need them, talk to you, tell you how much they love you, bring joy to you. they put up with you, eventhough its very annoying sometimes, they cook (some do, some don't,), passionate, don't lie (or hide secrets) from you, loving, caring, treat you respectfully and do not put you down. its different for everyone i guess. i mean, just as long as the main points are there, that person is a good gf.

Somebody who trusts you enough to go out with your friends, and knows your not going to cheat, someone who respects you and loves you for you, doesn't compare you to anybody else. Is honest, playful, loves to make you happy, but won't be a doormat, or callgirl for you whenever you want it. Uhm...i'm sure theres other thngs, but these are all i can think of.

A girl that supported the guy in his choices and activities. a girl that was willing to do his stuff (Car store, fishing, sporting stuff). A girl that pays attention to stuff... He looks depressed rub his shoulders bake cookies when he dosen't expect them. above all have a smile be positive and willing to have fun. don't be over concerned with looks( "am I fat?") be emotionally available to him. Be real don't hide your feelings.
