My son had his first pimple at 7! I was shocked. He had this huge zit on his nose. I felt bad for him because he was so young and probably the only child at school in the second grade with a pimple. Fortunately it went away and he has not any anymore since. He is nine now. He does however have an interest in little girls. My oldest one who is 11 still thinks girls are nasty. My oldest also has a fine facial hair on his upper lip and he has been wearing deodorant for several years. Kids are hitting puberty way early these days.

Pimples are more about clogged pores, anyone could get a pimple. if his face was all oily and he had a lot of them then that would probably be puberty. Or it might be a bug bite.
yeah 9 is kinda early but not *too* early.

im not a guy but i thought that i would tell you that my friend (who is a girl) started her period at 9 she was almost 10, but it is perfectly normal for someone to start at nine, maybe about 7 or 8 its a little weird but 9 and above is perfectly normal, my brother is going through it as well and he is 10 and 1/2.

It is not too early for him to start puberty. My oldest son did at that age and so did my daughter.

I am not a guy either, but i wanted to tell you that for some kids, that is a normal age. My cousin started her "visitor" at age 9.

It probably has more to do with his skin care then with puberty. Make sure he is washing his face in the morning and evening. He might have oily skin so try different facial cleansers.

it was from playing in the dirt..
