Actually, you can die from an untreated cavity. It can become infected, and if left unchecked, that infection can attack other organs in your body. That's a fact.
Most cavities are small, nothing to worry about. Tell your dentist you are afraid, they can give you a sedative, it will help.
Taking care of your teeth is just as important as taking care of any other part of your body that you want to keep. Establish a good relationship with your dentist. If you don't feel at ease with the one you go to this time, ask friends for referrals
Good luck !

People HAVE died from infected teeth. If you have one, you'll probably know it. In any case, better to have the check-up. If something's wrong, it can be caught in time, and if nothing is, you're home free for the next few months. If it's the examination process rather than the results you're afraid of, know that dentists are becoming increasingly considerate of their patients' comfort, and yours will probably do whatever he or she can to put you at ease and make the experience as pleasant as possible. If you bring a friend or family member along for moral support, some dentists will even let that person come in with you.

From a cavity? No. Are you scared of getting a filling at the dentist or the cavity itself? You could get an infection from the cavity that spreads and makes you very sick if it doesn't get taken care of, but that takes a LONG time. If you're going for a check up then you'll be fine.

Okay, here is the real deal on cavities and death. If you have a tooth that is causing you problems and you do not get it taken care of..... and an infection sets in... Yes, It can kill you. If the infection goes untreated it can spread to your brain and into your chest. Many ppl don't realize that untreated teeth problems are sometimes closely related to heart problems. How do I know this? I work in a hospital and not too long ago someone had an infected tooth and it spread to their brain and cause massive blood clots. This person is now dead. So, don't let your mouth go untreated.

No, unless you let your teeth get so rotten it gets into the gums. Then you get some random bacteria infection that you don't treat and it enters the blood stream.
But the likely hood of you letting it get that far before seeing a dentist is very low because it would be painful.

Cavities need to be taken care of. They can cause tooth sensitivity and jaw pain throughout. It can last for several years, before you figure out what's wrong, best to keep those regular checkups!

from a simple cavity no however it has formed an absess then it can spread into your blood stream and considering it doesn't have far to travel to the central part of your nervous system you should always have them treated immediately.
