This is the first time I've tried using oven. My parents would tel me to not use oven because I causes cancer, blow up house, etc. but I know that not true.

What rules/precautions are there when using oven?

Don't be afraid of the oven. Just be careful and look for warning signs. If the oven makes weird noises, if you smell something funky.


Edit: Try baking fries. Its really tasty and your kids will love them

Bagel bites are really easy, and pre-made cookie dough

Just don't leave the area/kitchen when using the oven in case something catches fire or burns...

If your parents don't want you to use it though, you should probably go over it with them, because I've been using ovens for years (I love to cook) but I burn myself sometimes, and it HURTS.

Yes, you can blow up the house if you have a gas oven. Get instructions from your parents and only use it if they are surpervising you.

turn all gas jets on full.Get out of the house set up a lawn chair about 100 yards away and wait for the house to explode . Then tell me it's not true.(JUST KIDDING) You spell "precautions" well for having an infantile mind.
