Jesus Christ did not say “I am God, worship me” I dare any Christian to tell me that Jesus peace be upon him in his own words, Not Mathew, not Mark not Luke not John nor Paul but Jesus said “I am God, worship me”. Bring your Bibles, call somebody up , go make a phone call, get the verse. You’ll never find it.You’ll find somebody else’s words alluding to that ,you’ll find somebody else’s reference appearing that. But Jesus never said to anyone “I am God,worship me” He said, “My father” He didn’t say my father who art in Heaven.because He was not exclusively a servant of God. He said when he taught them how to pray, I’M A MUSLIM NOW & I STILL LOVE JESUS CHRIST I’M STILL CONNECTED TO HIS MESSAGE AND I KNOW IT VERY WELL, He said and you know He said, “our father” didn’t he say that .He didn’t mean “our father” in the sense that he gave birth to us. but he said “our Lord who art in Heaven hal be thy name” not my name not our name, “thy kingdom come” not my kingdom come not our kingdom come….if he is part of the trinity, if he’s Divine if he’s part of God or if he’s next to God, he will say OUR kingdom come, he said “thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven give us this day our daily bread” Did he peace be upon him not say that, you see for yourself in your Bible….so now if he said that “give us this day our daily bread” that means Jesus and his mother could not have been Divine. You and I we eat and drink, Jesus and his mother ate and drank, and you and I know when you eat and drink the body only uses some of it , the rest of it the body evacuates. Now can you imagine God defecating and urinating?.... Let’s move on with the “Lord’s” prayer; “ Give US this day our daily bread and forgive US our trespasses as we forgive those who”.who do what… “trespass against us, lead us not into temptation, huh?, but deliver us from evil, for thyn is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever and ever” now does this sound like God praying to you, did you ever think about that… now that’s the ‘Lord’s prayer that’s the evidence of that. now we know Jesus said that . that wasn’t Mathew, Mark, Luke and John and Paul..Jesus said that. Dear brothers and sisters go home and palm through all the pages in your Bible and I guarantee you’ll never find it once anywhere.SO WHERE DID THIS COME FROM? And in three or four different occasions it is mentioned in your scripture that I have read throughout my life that Jesus walked off and fell down on his face and he worshipped God ..Now is that God bowing down to Himself? Is that God calling on Himself? No. Jesus said “I am Jesus who is sent, and the one who is sent is not like the One Who sent me” Jesus said “I can of my own self do nothing, but what’s through of the One Who orders me the One Who sent me tells me to do, that is what I do” We cannot take Jesus out of the context of what Jesus said himself and make Jesus what we want him to be. We can’t make Jesus a man god b/c the Romans and the Greeks had men gods b/c Jesus said “take not my message unto the Greeks, the Romans, the Samaritans from our message and I was sent to whom the lore sheep of the tribe of Israel” is this not what Jesus said? So Paul was mistaken when he said I became Apostle to the Gentiles Jesus said don’t take my message to them. Brothers and sisters we can immediately see by such an example and definition that Jesus himself submitted himself to God, that Moses and Abraham submitted themselves to God, that Isaac and Ishmael submitted themselves to God, that John the Baptist submitted himself to God. And submission means surrender and surrender means salamah SALAMAH. And the one who does that is called a MUSLIM. So what was Jesus? What was Abraham? What was Moses? What was David?

I doubt you know your Bible as well as you think you do.

Agreed, Jesus never, on the earth during His lifetime, demanded worship. You spent a long time stating the obvious, when one such statement would have been enough. The so-called Lord's Prayer has been called the Model Prayer and that would be a good descrition. Matthew 6 gives the occasion: Jesus was showing the wrong way to pray, and the model for the better way to pray. You won't find anywhere in the New Testament where any believer was ever commanded to pray in a particular form, nor any specific amount of times per day.

Briefly, yes, Jesus did eat and drink while He was alive on this earth. Why would there be any concern about His bodily functions?

You also seem to be confused about Jesus worshipping God the Father. Would you provide a reference to this? I do read of several times when Jesus did pray all night long, but not in the scenario you have provided. I would like to research this for myself.

You quote parts of John chapter 5. Did you read the context? Jesus is answering those who stated He claimed to be God!

You also quote parts of passages where, it is true, Jesus did send the disciples to the "lost sheep of the house of Israel". This was because He was announcing the Kingdom of Heaven was at hand. This was before Calvary, where He was crucified and later came back from the dead. Acts 1:8, plus the closing chapters of all four Gospels, contain His commands to preach the gospel to all mankind (in so many words). There are things that were true at the time, and for the time, but are not necessarily binding on people today.

I don't think you understand Paul's mission completely. Paul knew he was going to be sent to the Gentiles. Why not look up Gentile* on a Bible word search tool like Blue Letter Bible (http://www.blueletterbible.org) and see what is written.

Finally, it is a bit of a stretch to take the voluntary submission of Jesus Christ, and the other believers you mentioned, to make that an admission of faith in anything but God Himself.

While I am not a Christian, I agree that the non-Trinitarian view of God seems more sensible. You might want to look at the non-Trinitarian versions of Christianity.

I would suggest looking into these Christian churches which are all non-Trinitarian: Jehovah's Witnesses, Christadelphians, Bible Students, American Unitarian Conference, Arian Catholic Church, Oneness Pentecostal, UU Christian Fellowship, etc. Swedenborgianism (look up Swedenborg on Wikipedia) was also non-Trinitarian. Perhaps one of these may speak to your condition. You can find all of them doing an online search.

While it is true that LDS Mormons do not believe in the Trinity, they have a doctrine of Godhead and eternal progression which is more polytheistic than monotheistic.

Jesus did claim that He is God:

Do you know why Jesus was condemed to death by the high priest?

Because Jesus admitted that He is the Son of God - the member of Trinity - read Daniel. The High priest accused Jesus of Blasphemy.

There are many references in the old and new testament about taking the Gospel to gentiles. Did you know that Jesus preached to a Samaritan women?

Jesus's role in the trinity was to be the obedient son to his father. He humbled himself. I think that is why he said "thy will be done."
The trinity is so divine that we can't fully understand it, but someday we will!
He said who he was, but it was not a blatant statement:
John 8:57-59
57"You are not yet fifty years old," the Jews said to him, "and you have seen Abraham!"
58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" 59At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
By saying he existed before Abraham was born he revealed that the was divinity. He applied God's holy name (I am-Exodous 3:14) to himself. He said he was God.
I couldn't find "I am Jesus who is sent, and the one who is sent is not like the One Who sent me” I think that they are like, they are Father and Son, they are both divine.
I can identify with “I can of my own self do nothing, but what’s through of the One Who orders me the One Who sent me tells me to do, that is what I do” I agree that Jesus was a servant of his father.
Do you have the verses for those?
Jesus prayed to God for help and strength because he was fully a human. He had human weaknesses and chose to take on all the temptations we have. He put own his divine powers aside when it came to being tempted and asked God to help him instead. He did this to be an example for us.
Jesus was “perfect deity and perfect humanity” meaning that he was fully human and fully God without being some sort of third thing. (New Christian’s Handbook)

Moses, Abraham, and David were people who had deep relationships with God. They were early christians. Their stories are in the old testament. I think they each wrote books in the bible, but I could be wrong on that one. David wrote a lot of Psalms.

And, one more thing, I know I’m talking too much, Genesis 1:26:
"Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
In OUR image, in OUR likeness. There was atleast another divine being there! I think the Lord is referring to himself, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

I won't pretend I understand all of this because I don't. I'm a baby christian. I'm trying though, and you have raised some excellent questions. Feel free to email me.

Jesus rewards those who worship Him, unlike EVERY other Biblical personage:

Mat 8:2 And, behold, there came a leper **and worshipped him,** saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
Mat 8:3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

He claimed to BE God incarnate.

Mark 14:62 And Jesus said, I AM: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. :63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? :64 Ye have heard the blasphemy:...

The Jews understood what He was saying:

John 8:19 Then they said unto Him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also. 20 These words spake Jesus in the treasurey, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

If Jesus is NOT what He claims, He is a LIAR.

John 8:24, "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I AM, you will die in your sins."

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

Liars CANNOT be Prophets of God. Decide now where YOU MUST STAND.

You are betting your soul and eternity on this as truth???

I'd like to say to you in a friendly way, so don't take this wrong - your attitude seems argumentative instead of providing truth and revelation...

Yet you fail to understand that the Godhead is made up from three individual entities that form it - The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, who work in perfect harmony and unison as one. The Prayer is worded as speaking to God as one, not to each part of the Godhead individually.

Email me if you would like bible scripture showing this.

I gave up about four sentences into the rhetoric. If there's a question in there, it's pretty cleverly concealed, I'll give you that much.

Just FYI: Jesus *did* say that He and His Father were one, which makes Him God. He also said that He was the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no man comes to the Father except through Him. Not through Allah or anyone else -- only through Jesus Christ.

first off, that was WAY too long.

second, yes i can find a quote.

"truly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM" then they tried to stone Him
John 8:58

and there's also the quote " I and the Father are one"(john 10:30) and "He that has seen Me has seen the Father"(john 14:9)

and "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me" (john 14:6)

I am seriously confused on your question, if there is one, but the Bible says Jesus said "No one can come by The Father but by Me". Jesus IS the Son of God, who was sent here to save us.

why did God raise Jesus from the dead and not Mohammad?

Muslim salvation = submission + fear

Besides, the BIBLE mentions these verses:
John 1:1,14
John 10:30
1 John 5:8

This is what Muslim misses and lacks.
