You know, like the elaborately staged re-enactments of the Battle of Gettysburg. Those shows are impressive, and the participants take them seriously enough to enjoy the heck out of the experience. Do you suppose some young historian in, say, 2070 will research The War on Christmas and become so enamoured of the subject that s/he designs costumes and writes battle scripts and sweet-talks alumni into financing the whole thing? And -- here's the kicker -- would you pay admission to see the show?

(If you're still around, of course.)

you know, the biggest blockbuster movies that are coming out for christmas this year are all HORROR films.....by 2070, people will definitely be interested in seeing a war re-enactment on a "happy" holiday. Heck, i'd probably go see it...maybe not on christmas day, but at least while it was playing....nonetheless, which war are you talking about?

Yeah it is stupid the war on Christmas is really a business thinking happy holidays might make them more money.
