I'm feeling quite rebellious. I've normally always been a responsible "good girl" and I make straigt A's so I'm not a delinquent, giving her a reason to do this stuff
. I'm 17 and she still treats me like i'm 9. I mean, I can even get into an R- rated movie-- legally.
And she even went out of her way to put a freaking "content blocker" on our computer set for kids ages 3-12!
I use proxies to go to whatever site I want, but still, it's the concept behind the matter.
How can I make her see I'm not a little girl anymore?

Sounds like your mother loves you and is doing her job at protecting you. It's hard as a parent to let your children venture out on their own. To her you're still her little girl. Don't rebel or try to get in trouble as that is only going to make her want to imply stricter guidelines on you. Instead sit down with her and discuss this. Make her realize you are ready for a little more freedom and see if you two can reach a compromise. Good luck.

If you want your mom to see you are not a little girl, you need to talk to her like an adult, not try to make her angry. If you start fighting with her unnecessarily, all you are going to accomplish is getting punished, and she'll still treat you like a child. If you go to her in a responsible manner, and speak to her like an adult, and explain your grievances, you could compromise on some of the situations that you explained.

If youre not a little girl anymore then Id advise finding a different way to reach her because "pissing her off" will only reinforce your immaturity level to her.
Try this hotline number, they can help you communicate more effectively to her without you making things worse then they are.

Act like an adult, take on some responsibilities without being told. Respect her and talk to her as an adult, trying to PISS her off, is not very mature. I can see why she has a block on things.

Just remember--actions speak louder than words. Don't do anything now that you will regret later!
