To all those people who rely on scientific explainations
Scientists have been VERY wrong before so why isnt it possible for them to be wrong now?

Just because a scientist says there is not a god does not mean there isnt one

btw i am not trying to say everyone should believe in god Im just saying scientists have been wrong before

It does not. Science does not say there is not a god. It just says there there is no scientific proof. Science is not about saying what does not exist. Science seeks to understand the universe. Being an atheist does not have anything to do with science.

Science doesn't address the question of the existance of God or not. And there are many scientists who believe in god. They just are smart enough to realize that the Bible is not a scientific text. Just as the Kama Sutra is not a manual in automotive repair.

And if you insist it must be either one or the other, then your faith is on shaky ground in my eyes.

The quest of scientists, both believers and non-believers in god is HOW the universe works and developed, not who created it.

When are you Christians going to leave atheists and agnostics alone? Stop trying to understand us. If you don't get it by now you never will. I don't ever expect you to understand becaue being narrow minded prevents that. Science doesn't say there is one so yea pretty much there can't be one. So then question to you...how can you believe in someone that you've never seen or had contact with? Let's just agree to disagree.

There could be, just like there could be a Santa or a Tooth Fairy or a purple teapot flying around Saturn. The atheistic viewpoint basically says that all these things have the same relevance.

it's not the job of science to prove or disprove the existence of invisible super beings. science doesn't even broach the topic of the existence of gods but Atheists look at the facts that science provides and see no evidence within those facts that suggests that gods exist.

There is no way to prove or disprove it because it is made up. Try to disprove the tooth fairy, you can't, because it is possible though very unlikeley that it does exist.

So turn the question around. Religious people, why would you believe something to be true and shape your life around it when there is no proof other than a book?

Notice some fictional characters have more books than the bible aswell.

That isn't why atheists don't believe in gods...

I don't believe in a diety because I can see nothing that suggests that there is one... It has absolutely nothing to do with what science does or doesn't say.

Just because science says the world revolves around the sun and pink lovely unicorns dont exists WHY DOES IT MEAN IT CANT BE TRUE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I mean if the mere profession of finding out facts about nature tells us something is so/not so, why cant we just totally disregard the work of countless professionals and assume whatever giddy idea pops into our head?????

Not only is there NO evidence, but there is evidence against it, such as findings in the field of psychology, sociology, anthropology; which tell us that humans create their own personal idols and that simple little fables can evolve into cults, which eventually evolve into full blown religions.
