Well my first reaction to this question was to think "Islam."Then I remembered an excerpt from D. James Kennedy's book The Gates Of Hell Shall Not Prevail where he is speaking of someone who made the statement..."Where have you been? Every War in the world is based on religion. There's no greater source of violence."(Comes from an episode of Picket Fences) D. James Kennedy states..."That's a distortion of history, as we documented in our previous book, What if Jesus had never been born? In reality, far more people have been killed in this century alone by the atheistic Communists than have been killed in all previous centuries combined ! The world waited until this century for the term "genocide" to be coined. As the eminent historian Paul Johnson points out, the totalitarian states of the twentieth century(all of which were atheistic and anti-Christian) have proved to be the greatest killers of all time." So I'd have to answer that they would both like to see Christianity wiped off the face of the planet. I also believe what the title of Kennedy's book states...The gates of hell will not prevail against Christ's church. The more they try to kill it the more it spreads. Persecuting Christians is like blowing on a dandelion. God bless!!

poses a threat? You mean people converting to other religions? Well, logical people may fall prey to Atheism. They may not actually stop believeing in god but simply question it. Islam too because their followers are often very strict with their familys about their religious beliefs. Because of their more consistant followers i'd have to say Islam is more of a threat.
Note: I might be being arrogant but i this is a very ignorant thing to say:
I'd have to say Islam, some of them would kill us, but all Atheists do is sit on their butts and scream "There is no God! There is no God because science doesn't say there is one!!"
PS I apologize for any mistakes i may have made (probably many.) Fragments, running sentences, spelling etc

Ehm, excuse me?
Never have I "sat on my butt and screamed 'There is no God! There is no God because science doesn't say there is one!!'" KayThanks.
As for which poses the greatest threat, atheism.
Atheism has science behind it, and is at least governmentally respected. The truth behind Islam, on the other hand, has been publicly corrupted and altered by stereotypes sent forth by society and by the government. We've portrayed Muslims as something they're not, and despite the fact that it's not right, we can't undo it very easily.
Because of this, it is less likely that Islam will "take over."
Atheism, on the other hand, is closely knitted with science; hence, it will be respected, and accepted more easily.

There are no threats to Christianity. It's all about faith and trusting in your God. Atheist can have their belief and Islam theirs. No threat to me as a christian. We as Christians, will not tolerate being killed by any source, be religious or otherwise. As for the Atheist, we will fight for them as well.Science is science, some think there is a God, and some don't. Merry Christmas.

Atheists in all reality shouldnt give a crap what we believe, and some I persoanlly know do not (on here is a diff story) However, Islam is the religion to watch. Not the peaceful Islam everyone speaks of, but the Islam that in the next generation or two that will consume any peacefulness it might have had at one time. The bible even speaks of the antichrist and how he will behead those who do not convert. Who does this sound like to you? Look up the Hidden Imam, interesting stuff!
There is no threat to Christianity though, we know who wins :-)

False religion is the whore in the book of Revelation. It does not pose a threat to real Christianity as Christ has the victory already.

Neither are threats. There does in fact exist Good Atheists and Good Muslims.
I suggest that instead of coming up with ideas like, "Who Poses the Bigger Threat," you should find a way to get along with people. And maybe, not be so exclusive with your Christian Friends.
After all, I have friends who are Muslim and Atheist and I feel closer to them than some of my Christian friends.

The biggest threat to religion is knowledge, but Islam is a very repressive religion and thus is a danger to society as a whole.
In your case, I wouldn't worry too much about the knowledge part as you are in no danger of that. People that believe whatever they hear without objectively verifying it are in no danger of gaining knowledge.
Edit:
"Sorry, Atheism is a religion. It's the worship of one's self as the highest form of being."
No, you are completely and totally wrong. No atheist I know worships themselves or anything else. Like I said, knowledge is no threat to you.

Nothing threatens Christianity.
The end time religion of Babylon, false Christianity, will lead many who call themselves Christians to worship Satan instead of Christ. Even this does not threaten Christianity.
We have the victory in Christ.
