May the Lord be with Mr Blair.

The Catholic Church accepts all recovering sinners. No repentant sinner is ever turned away.

It brings tears of gladness and trepidation to my eyes.
I am of course happy for anyone to come closer to God in any way, but in this way, so formalized and suitable, one can almost see the planetary alignments becoming diametrically opposed, and therefore, momentous occasions are in the offing.

Would the Queen and her family become converted, now that is exceedingly ticklish to the mind.

I wonder what they are thinking? Perhaps they have known about it for a long time. I hope that all will go well with them, and no radical Masonic group takes it in their mind to do him or his family harm.

Why on God's great earth would anyone try to get "into" Babylon, when God explicitly warns us to get out?!....... "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!" (Revelation 18:2). Then God commands: "And I heard another voice from heaven saying, 'Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues'" (v. 4).

No big deal. I believe that his wife is Catholic, and aside from some administrative details, there isn't much difference between Church of England and the RCC.

Well I liked the way he was rejected by the Catholic church for allowing legislation to pass that granted gays civil equality and that respected their human rights finally, although he didn't really have much choice it was an EU initiative.

I can say I have lost a little respect for him - not for converting, but for not doing it until after he was finished being PM of England.

The article stated it was 'expected' it would happen after he was out of office.
That bothers me - almost as much as someone who changed political parties after he/she is elected into office.
It's dishonest.

Freedom of choice I guess.

Rest of his immediate family are Catholics

Didn't want to raise any religious issues whilst in office.

Great.

Don't really care.

He could tell his buddies who are still in office to get the "bleep" out of Ireland, though...
