I know this guy who is adorable and his ex wife of 9 years left him for another guy, they have a daughter togetehr also. I saw pictures of her and she is not pretty at all. He is so sweet and adorable, why would she leave him and hurt him?

prettiness does not account for who you are
beauty is only skin deep
maybe she left him because
-she's evil
-the guy has a side you don't know about
or the guy she left her ex husband for is better

I think that attitude has a lot to do with a man's choice. Except when he is just out for his early life experience. I was thinking the other day that the most beautiful girls I know are never the ones I could trust, but they are the quickest to say "She's not your type!" As a man I have been given 'nicknames' to emphasize how I look, and it makes me feel good at times, but not to the point where I talk to a woman just to match my looks. She must come with a brain and then we talk about the rest...

Maybe he's a different guys behind closed doors. If he was with her for 9 years there must be more than looks that he was attracted to her for. Sometimes when you love someone even if the other person isnt the most beautiful person in the world, when you love someone you dont see what everyone else sees...you see that persons beauty and the good in them, because you love them.

that your opinion. people have different tastes. i find myself unttractiv so do some other people but my fiance and othes think im gorgeous. your opinion probably means nothing to him and you just have a case of the green eyed monster.
