- Imagine having your finger nails ripped out/off - how quicky would you take yourself to the Hospital??? A blood vessel and nerve go down a cats nail approx one third of what you can see.
- Would you put Bacitracin or peroxide on a human two year old to lick off???
- Your cat will be in pain and the wounds will get infected without treatment!!!
- The SPCA may be able to help with cheaper emergency treatment. Just phone them or your local vet - PLEASE

I assure you that his claws did not "fall" off - they were ripped off very painfully while he was in the midst of being quite frightened! While it is possible that you can clean them and keep them from becoming infected you really can't afford to take that risk. Clean them as best you can, wrap them if you need to stop the bleeding and GO TO THE VET NOW!
If you really need to wrap them to control the bleeding try stuffing some cotton balls in some small, clean cotton socks and putting them on him, then use medical tape to keep the top of the sock attached to the fur on his legs. (This will depend greatly on your skill and your cats disposition...)
If he is completely freaking out wrap him in a towel, put him, towel and all, in a pillow case then get in the car and go to the vet! Don't worry - he can breathe through the pillowcase and it won't hurt him like sliding around in his cat carrier will right now. Bring the carrier along with you for bringing him home later.
Good luck!
p.s. using paper in the litter box for a while is a great idea! Just keep it extra clean while his paws heal.

TAKE HIM TO THE VET NOW. if you think it's too expensive, contact your local ASPCA. if your nails were ripped off, i doubt you'd just sit there putting peroxide on it...you'd be at the hospital in the speed of light, right? this is what you need to do for your cat. no offence, but get off yahoo answers & get your cat the the vet ASAP. put something on your cats claws so it doesnt get infected. please go NOW. your cat could be in tremendous pain. GOOD LUCK!

Yes go to the vet. His claws being ripped off will be very painful. He should be treated by a vet and given pain meds from the vet. Cats are very sensitive to pain meds so don't try human ones.
Go Now!!!!! Think of all your nails being ripped off!!

I would take him on to the vet. You cannot stitch a wound if it too old and from what you described he may need stitches. You will want a vet to go ahead and clean out wound on his paws. It would be very easy for him to get an infection.

Yes take him first thing in the morning. I would not apply anything to the wound as like you said he will just lick it off. It can get infected rather easy with him using the litter box. So they need to be covered.

I'd take him ASAP, to see if the paws need stitches. Also, when a cat is "declawed", they have to use shredded paper in their litterpans, because the litter can get into the surgery "sites", and could cause infection. The papers will need to be changed after every use! Hope this answers your question....Good luck..........
