If undocumented workers pay taxes(which they do,there are special stores where they can do this) then how can?

they be a burden to hospitals,roads etc.?(but hey don't take my word for it , look it up,it has been documented on CNN,ABC,indy-media,etc.)

obviously these stores do not involve any sort of identity theft fraud,or they would not be out in the open,and on the news,it says on the store front windows what these stores are and what they do.

Boxer you are right, undocumented immigrants do pay taxes, many of the responder did not provide links and the ones that did provided links from a neo/con source, provide the link to the government study directly. Education taxes are paid primarily though property taxes if you rent or live in the district you contribute you fair share of Educational Taxes. When you purchase Gas,cigarettes, liquor, food any thing you are paying taxes. If you are using services you are being taxed.

Well the US has a quota. A quota that only lets in a certain amount of people a year. We also have a budget for certain departments a year. Those certain departments get x amount of money to run their departments each year based on the census and quotas from the government. Now, imagine this year after year millions more immigrants come over the border that are not accounted for AND are illegal. They go to get welfare they put their children in schools they get cars that use gas so more and more cars are on the road which produces more wear and tear on the roads. Now, when a supply of a certain thing goes down and there is a high demand then the price or value of that thing goes up. Gas prices are up. Housing is up. Schools are over crowed. Hospitals have shut down( WHY? because they don't pay their hospital bills. There is really no way to track them.) Now, I can hear you saying well lets make them legal. Well we still have a major problem are economy is stretched so thin. If we deported them we would have less gas prices. We would pay less for health care. Our kids would get a better education because the ratio of teacher per child would be up...so more one on one time. Our roads would be safer.

Most of them work under the table which is nontaxable employment. The smaller percentage that falsify their documents to get hire and pay taxes get payed a much lower rate than what they would have to pay a legal citizen. Less money to tax. Almost all of them end up using the ER as regular doctors clogging up the hospitals for the legal resident that may need it. Doing this also causes a financial burden to the hospitals. also your sources for information are far left driven. They have an agenda and it's not on the side of enforcing the law.

I agree to GOMany that all poor do not self support themselves tax wise. A smaller percent of the illegal immigrants pay taxes than the general population. There is no reliable data on what percent pay taxes, since these people are hiding and we can't make a decent count. SOme data state that 50% pay taxes, while one document states that illegal immigrants on average pay 3% of their income goes to taxes. The funny thing is that these data I collected came from the Pro's on this site.

Your mis-informed, They only pay sales tax(when purchasing items).
They do not however pay taxes on money earned as US citizens and Legal Immigrants do. Hospitals: Many nationwide(mostly border states) have closed due to the number of illegals using ER's when sick and never, ever pay the bills.
If you took your head out of your butt, and did some research on your own, you would learn the facts......

Are you suggesting that undocumented workers can BUY a right to be here illegally through the taxation system? First of all, tax law and immigration law are not related in the argument you are trying to make. Legal temporary visitors like international students pay taxes when they work in the U.S. too, should we allow them to stay in the country indefinitely? And excuse me, last I check they all have to carry their own health insurance ($400 per semester plus co-pay) and not allowed to use public facility. How can we allow the illegals who broke our law more right then these law abiding temporary visitors?

Sure they pay taxes, but that STILL doesn't negate the fact that they have broken immigrations law passed by our democratic process to be here. We are a country of law and should not allowed anyone to disrespect it, let alone asking the country for services after breaking our law. Come here legally and we will welcome you.

If you don't like the current immigration law, call your congressman to have it changed. Finding excuses to justify undocumented worker's presence in the U.S. is not the solution.
