I guess they would eat anything, but why put the poor fellow through it?
I mean, no one likes the stuff, but at least we have a choice.

there was a program on tv the other day saying that we should not feed our dogs our christmas dinner as Turkey, onions, stuffing, Grapes, raisens, saltans, etc.....
Items in these foods put strain on the digestive system and some are toxic for dogs to deal with and could cause problems so give your dogs food made for them insted of ours.
If you are still tempted then ask your local vet for advice.
Be prepared to maybe have to deal with diahorria after hes had tummy ache and gas and may be a bit of vomiting being that hes only 9 months old!
At the end of the day the choice is yours so have a great xmas.

Funny isn't it.. You ask a question about what a dog should eat and you get loads of answers saying different things.. Yes and no. Well for people who say you will end up with problems read my answer.
We had a staffordshire bull terrier.. We fed him all sorts of human food.. He lived 14 yrs.. Oh and im pretty sure he had more than one Xmas dinner with no problems.. so feed your dog the Xmas dinner..one little warning.. be prepared for hours of wind, of course your dog will look at you as if you were the culprit..don't they always, Happy Xmas

You could do yes, i have a staff called Milly and she will eat anything, she loves her food and is no fussy at all, but if you feed them human food, you run the risk of the dog thinking, hmmm their food is better than mine, and they might stop eating, i had this problem with Milly when she was a puppy, she just stopped eating her food, so i though well baby you will eat when you are hungry, i know you want your dog to enjoy the festive food and that but instead buy him/her a lovely doggy treat, im sure he/she will enjoy it in the same way.

Veg (not potatoes) and meat are fine, but if it's not his usually food you run the risk of giving the dog an upset tummy. He doesn't need a Christmas dinner you could mix a small amount of meat in with his regular food if you really want to.

Turkey, potatoes and vegetable should be ok, but no stuffing or Xmas pudding etc.
Question is does he need to have a Human Xmas dinner - you could probably get him a lamb or pork bone for after his regular dog food that he'll like just as well

You might be able to, it depends on the recipes you use. I know some common flavorings like garlic and onions can kill dogs. Do some research and find out what dogs can/can't eat and make sure your meal contains none of the things they can't.
Just be warned your dog may have a bit of an upset tummy afterwords, and if he happens to be allergic to anything you might have a serious problem
Merry Xmas to you and your dog

Do NOT give any animal the turkey BONES.....they splinter too easily. Besides, puppies are notorious for GULPING their food, and might "inhale" a bone. That would be BAD!! Also, Christmas dinners are really too high calorie/fat/sugar for dogs.....My opinion...........give him a NEW BONE to chew on, while you eat your dinner......no leftovers for him, either! My daughter had a Rotty, that she NEVER let have "people" food, so even when the dog weighed 75 lbs, he didn't try to get anyone's food. Never knew what he was missing, so didn't become a pest! Merry Christmas to Y'all............

I'm sure he'd appreciate some turkey his being a carnivore but I wouldn't give him too much, or any accompaniments unless you want to be scraping poop off your carpets. Also the sprouts may result in foul doggy wind.
