No, they're actually very rational. Many theists and atheists are very dogmatic in their beliefs, agnostics actually like to keep an open mind. They might be the most reasonable of all.

As long as they aren't pretending that they're neither a theist nor an atheist then I have no issue with them.

The only people I have any issue with are the ones who try to dictate what it is I believe or not. The moment an agnostic says "atheists believe there is no god" then I have an issue because they're incorrectly stating my position.

Just an example of what I have an issue with.
"Many theists and atheists are very dogmatic in their beliefs"

This person has obviously never met even a minute portion of either group and yet has the audacity to claim to know those people better than they know themselves.

I'm an agnostic. And maybe I am a "double-agent", in that I can carry out a rational conversation with both believers and non-believers because I can relate to where they are both coming from. I don't have any issues regarding trust by those of either belief-system. And neither should you.

And I'm pretty sure this "double-agent" nonsense isn't anything Jesus would want you to dwell on.

Agnostics hold to the principle that the existence of certain things--most specifically, god/s--is unknowable. It's not a statement of belief. So, no, we're not religious double agents :-).

No, it's not that I don't trust believers, it is just some of them that have an agenda to legally force society to follow their morality, or teach "pseudo-science" as real science.

Agnostics generally don't support either of those, so I have no problem with them.

If they are like I was, they are just on their way to becoming an Atheist. Or really, they are an Atheist they just don't know it fully yet.
