Only if its corked. Otherwise, if you get pulled over and its open, you can get a DUI. The law is cracking down on open bottles. Some bars and resteraunts won't do this as they could be sued if the driver drinks and drives, causes an accident. They don't want the law suits.

it depends on the laws of your state. where i live they recently passed a law stating that if you bought a bottle of wine at a vineyard (or any establishment where wine is sold i would assume) and it is unfinished, then you can have it recorked. however, if you leave and the bottle is not recorked and you get pulled over, you can get an open container ticket.

Providing you have paid for it on your bill then yes you can. I have even seen tight wads taking the remains of a bottle of water with them!!! they must be English.

Yes you can, after all you paid for it at a premium price as a rule, as there is usually a handling charge included.

It depends on the laws of the state you live in. For example, I know of a state that doesn't allow open alcohol containers in cars. (And if you've been drinking, please don't drive.)
