You will probably lose a few pounds if any (juice is loaded with sugar!) and then you will gain it all back within a month, possibly ruining your 258->234 success.
Not only it has a lot of calories, it's all liquid. You will be hungry all the time. Follow what the first answer says - replace all the liquid that you consume with water. It will be much better. Eating an orange is much more satisfying and tastes a lot more "orangy" than a glass of orange juice and it has fewer calories.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

Instead of drinking juice for 10 days, which has a TON of suger not to mention calories, try drinking only water.
I mean EAT what you normally would, but don't drink anything that isn't water.
You will be amazed how many liquid calories you take in.
I would bet you would lose 10lbs in a couple weeks, by cutting out all liquids except water!!

Sure, you might lose the weight, but what happens when you go off the diet back to your regular habits? You'll gain it back, and maybe more. I could see it if you were in some sports competition where you needed to make a certain weight level fast, but outside of that, crash diets are a bad idea, Changing your eating habits and a regular exercise program are the way to go.

i know your not going to want to hear this answer. but that is extremely unhealthy to do and once you do and lose the weight, its going to come back on plus more faster then you lost it. juices are high is sugars and it will make you feel aweful after a day or so. your losing weight anyways. try to do things to speed up what your already doing. cut sodas. cut unhealthy things out of your diet. go for walks or jogging. things like that will make a better difference then those fab diets.

Well I beleive ur idea is totally dumb!! I knw im rude but I dont knw y people do this. The only real way to loose weight is to eat right n exercise(ie bout 1500 - 2500 calories, 30 - 40 gm fat, 50 - 100 gm protein, som carbs n all). wht ur tryin to do well jus boost ur ego for a coupl of days but totally kill ur body. Run a bit, cycle, anythin.. Move ur butt dude.. N i promise. the ladies will love it/... ; - )t
