Thought I would ask this as my day (well the last 28 hours or so) has been extremely enlightening and have had many things confirmed so I'm feeling a great deal happier especially now destiny and karma are going hand in hand :)

I live pretty far north, and as I get older, I find myself increasingly frustrated with the shortness of the of the days this time of year. It's dark when I go to work, and dark when I come back home. Nice thing about winter solstice is that I know the days are starting to get longer again.

It was nice for me. Winter Solstice this year symbolizes the new beginning for my life. It's quite interesting for me really...winter solstice and the full moon w/in days of one another and then i will celebrate christmas like the rest of my family...decorating the tree is great bc it is a pagan symbol. I love this time of year!

My Winter Solstice has been wonderful. My father is Pagan and celebrates the Solstice, and my husband, children, and I took part in his celebration today.
Then, on Tuesday, he'll come over and celebrate Christmas with us. I love this time of year!

I found the short day encouraged me to get a lot more done than I would during longer daylight. That's good! I'm going to have a big feast on Tuesday with my family to celebrate!

not so much. it's rainy and i don't have enough time to complete the xmas gifts i've been making. but i love that the days will be longer and warmer from now on! and my dogs are super loving today for some reason, so it's not all bad!
