Yes. Most of the New Testament of the Bible was written by people claiming to be eye witnesses.
Peter states:
2 Peter 1:16 For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.
Paul states:
1 Corinthians 15:5 and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve. 6 After that He was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to the present, but some have fallen asleep. 7 After that He was seen by James, then by all the apostles.

What do you mean by "eye witness evidence"?
BTW, every position has its embarrassing arguments. Christians have their young earth creationists, Muslims have their extremists, and atheists have their folks who deny that Jesus ever existed.

Plenty of eye witnesses. Also, according to historians, the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ are the most accurately documented and easily proven facts in ancient history.
