Windows Update is always checking whenever it automatically downloads updates. The problem is that it is notoriously inaccurate and has put a lot of users in that position of having to prove they are legit.

How about some useful advice:
run thru the Windows Genuine Advantage process and that will go away.

that happened to one of my laptops and after going thru that process with MS, it went away.

You have been hacked. Get a good operating system, instead of Windows that is much less hacker friendly, such as www.kubuntu.org
