Jabs arent supposed to knock blokes out. Its just the key that opens the door. But, if people are walking through your jab then you may have a problem. To put a bit extra into it, make sure you step forward with your jab, make sure you tweak your wrist so its horizontal to the floor when it lands. This may help.

I'm almost of the opinion that a powerful jab comes from natural ability. How to get more power? Rotate your torso at the hips just as the jab extends fully. Push a little bit from your rear foot, too. But I've seen people try to jab too hard and get countered. You don't want to push your head into your opponent's range by trying too hard.

Practice on the heavy bag, but I dont know if you are aware that when you throw your jab you have to push foward with all of your body. So that should help and if it doesnt put some sort of cast when your wraping your hands, it helped Tito Trinidad!!!!!!!

try doing several hundred a day with weights strapped to your forearm, should improve speed and power accordingly.

also weight-work with all of your shoulder muscles will help as this is were your jab should come from. not your legs or back.
pure arm and shoulder.
