and yet there are allowed to be hatred, anger, disgusting assumptions, and poisonous rudenss and disrespect in answers to pagan questions.

I wish that we could change the world into one of acceptance. I do all I can by being open about my choices.

It's possible that someone, possibly a Christian (no offense meant) didn't like the question because they thought it diverted attention from the "reason for the season".
What people fail to understand is that the Christmas we know today is a combination of a celebration of the birth of Christ and Yule celebration. It's sad that someone would allow themselves to be so easily offended. It's interesting to note that a couple of hundred years ago many conservative Christian denominations in this country didn't celebrate Christmas at all. They didn't think it was appropriate.

I suspect Christians. I've noticed that anything that questions Christianity will cost nine points no matter how politely worded. Whereas the most obscenely anti-lesbian and gay fundie rants seem to be immune to deletion.
This question stands a good chance of being deleted.

Some fundies were probably offended that anyone could or would want to acknowledge any other December holiday other than their CHRISTmas.

And it is shameful that these questions were just simply deleted rather than Yahoo! moderators actually looking at the question and seeing that it was in no way harmful.

I wouldn't know...all the traditions from way back have contributed to the Christmas that we all enjoy? It's kind of a heinze 57 variety Holiday..and a good one at that...one that the whole world has come to love...and accept...i find this facinating... "Peace!"

Mine was deleted for "chatting." How about that? It seems the YA people are anti-Pagan. It seems we're being discriminated against. Any lawyers available?

Some folks in here love to preach but simply can't handle the truth.

Harassment... typical of the religious fascists here who seem to think that is acceptable behavior.
