I have no prejudices against catholics and the very best to your mum's family, but I haven't called any catholics a MICK.

Do you only read what you want to see? or did you not put your brain into gear before you posted YOUR view?

Unless "mick" has a meaning unknown to me (and most dictionaries) he hasn't.
He can't suddenly change his ancestry.
If you mean his conversion to Roman Catholicism, then it illustrates 2 main points to me:
1. He is really quite a shallow, silly man. How can anybody take all that religious mumbo jumbo seriously!
2. He is totally disconnected from mainstream English cultural thinking which, has been in the protestant tradition for many centuries and is now mostly agnostic.
So...no surprises there. But it does help to explain some of his more bizarre decisions while in power.

MICK is not a very nice word even though a lot of Irish people are catholics. I have no religion and think this is the best way to be, religion is the main cause of all wars.

Everything Phoney Blair does has an ulterior motive mainly to benefit him. He'll probably get a top job in the vatican now. He has the blood of millions on his hands so it doesn't really matter which branch of Christianity he follows. If there is a hell then that's where he belongs now

I believe one of his grandmothers was Irish but I doubt that would make him a 'Mick'. I assume you mean his becoming a Catholic. I think you'll find it means nothing of the kind. In any case his religion is his own business certainly not yours or mine.

its just another case of no one really knowing where he stood on anything. he was anti EU then pro EU he was a Protestant then catholic. it is the way he has been on everything he has touched. you watch the right hand when all the time you should have been watching the left. of course he dazzled us all with the smile. as for the racist remark get a life mate for god sake and stop singing new labours tune we are all pissed off with the political correctness in this country big time and we are not going to shut up just because of your unfounded accusations

Mick?

I dislike him on the basis he drove our country to the right-wing basis in favour of business over the people and corrupted the once decent Labour party with the wrong people.

The only Mick I know of is Mr. Lips Jagger.

, my view is that he is a chicken shxt liar and a hypocrite he is more interested in the power the church offers him, than he is interested in the catholic god, he has been persuaded by his royalty hating wife to take the cross as his saviour despite his anti religious view, a shallow man with no morality or courage, his legacy is hypocrisy, he leaves behind him a million deaths, may god forgive his sorry ***.

A "Mick" is not a religion, it is slang used for an Irish person. The Irish are mainly Catholics.

And who cares what he is, was, and wants to be.

What is a MICK??? However to answer your question; i believe his choice of religion is entirely his own, it's not as if it is going to have any effect on us!!!
