Well, I don't think the Bible answers any questions, really (even though I am Christian). And we know that Christ was born in September (estimated), at least those of us who really know what we are talking about do. But Christmas actually falls in line with the pagan holiday of the Solistice, which was yesterday. This is done because converting from one religion to another is best and most easily done when their are not drastic changes. So, they put the celebration of Christ right at the same time as the pagan solistice to encourage supporters that it was not that much of a 'leap of faith' (haha, love that play on words).

Jesus is the answer to every question in our life. The Bible has a greyside. It means the bible is silence about that subject. One reason, the Birth date of Jesus Christ is not recorded but the main point of the issue is there from the beginning. Some mature Christian Christmas is everyday. Like me, I celebrate Christmas everyday in my life since the very first time I received Jesus in my heart. Some people give something for their family only on Christmas or birthdays. I do not have problem with that. But if I celebrate Christmas everyday I need to love and give everyday and that is me. Some wanna be Christian wants to argue about the date. The date can't save you!!!! Only Jesus can!!!!! So do not worry about the date and keep focusing to the One who can give etrernal life and that is Jesus Christ.

The Bible is not the answer to everything. (It cannot tell you how to fix a computer or replace a car engine!! etc)
But behind the text and among the text are the keys to Eternal Life. Those who seek or are interested in Eternal Life will find it. (Those who could care less see the Bible as a funny book or a fairy tale; it makes no sense to them).
To find Christ's birth, you must remember that Israel is the country around which the events took place so when you read about 'shepherds watching their flocks by night', or about the way a star was positioned at a certain time, you put all the pieces together and discover the date.
Christ's birth is no mystery; it's just not something interesting to many people. Only on Christmas!!

You are being illogical. The Bible never claimed to be like a big encyclopedia answering any and all questions - and I think you know this. So my question is why take up time asking questions just for controversy?
The men who wrote the Bible had other objectives with their writing than giving us a detailed biography of Jesus Life. In the book of John is states that if all the things that Jesus did and said were written down, the world could not contain the books that would be written.
The objectives of the Bible are to show mankind there is a God who cares about them, to show the record of interactions between God and a special group of people - The nation of Israel. It is also written to show us our moral bankruptcy and God's help in dealing with this set of problems. It was written to showcase the life of God's only born Son and all that happened as He fulfilled all the ancient prophesies made thousands of years before His birth. The Bible is meant to lead us to the God who loves us so desperately that He would give His very best in order to buy us back from the prison of our own making!
In stead of wasting time asking trivial questions, why not get brave and ask some real questions? Ask yourself this, If God really sent Jesus Christ to die for all men's sins, what does that mean for me? What must I do about Jesus? Surely you have some puzzling questions in your heart, right? Why not read the Bible and see if it has answers to your REAL questions!
I had life or death questions and almost chose death. Thankfully, some people introduced me to Jesus Christ. It changed my life, totally. I've read the Bible a lot in the years I've been a Christian and it benefitted me continually. It has wisdom, poetry, history, war stories, love stories, miracle stories......it is amazing.
So, please stop worrying about the smaller stuff and dig into the real book. You will find real help there, for your real life!!!

What?
I just do not believe you!!!!!!
Birthdays are listed in the birthday section in alphabetical order. Are you looking under the name of Jesus or under his sir name of Christ? Use the sir name since all the new translated bibles have changed the translation from Jesus, the Christ to only Jesus Christ.
I suppose your next question is why your name is not on the list. So you will know now, be sure you get an updated translated version at least printed two years after your actual birthday. It takes two years to be included in the listings.

There are no dates in the bible. Time is only counted by the generations. The people who call themselves christians have no right to gloss over the lie that is christmas. They are not representing the Christ who was and IS the TRUTH, but represent the prince of darkness to apply a lie to the King of TRUTH. You might be gratified to know these deceivers will burn in hades when they die if they do not repent. And since the world now knows that christmas is a pagan holiday, Saturnalia, they have no excuse for NOT repenting.

The bible is the key to answering question. Education of the word is where you should find the answer's to questions you may have. Regardless of what you believe it takes education and learing to believe in anything. In my opinion, Christ's birthday doesnt have to be on the right day. As long as we celebrate it, and we celebrate it right then I think that is the way to go. If we celebrated your birthday, 3 months too early, how bad would it be?? It wouldnt. It was the point that we celebrated it. Even though we know that Dec 25th isnt Christ's real birthday, we should do all we can to make it a special day and keep in mind the real meaning of Christmas.

If part of a hypothesis is wrong then the whole thing turns out wrong.
In Algebra a + or - sign can make the whole equation wrong, but that is only for scientific work.
Faith corrects these glaring errors.
Religion is not about science but the soul.
Where the soul is concerned then Prophets or God tell us what is correct. We must follow the teachings of Jesus, Joseph Smith , Mohammad or suffer the consequences. The consequences are found written from revealed sources in the Book of Mormon, Bible, Koren.

Considering that Jesus did not Want us to celebrate his birth, but his death, why would it be in the Bible. Birthdays in the bible are mentioned, but always with a bad connotation. Look at Herod's b-day present. The head of John the Baptist.

Celebrating Christ Birthday is unchristian. Plain and Simple.
The Bible does not point to December 25 as the birthday of Jesus. Indeed, this date not only is unsupported by the Bible but is unreasonable, as a comment in Joseph Mede’s Works brings out: “At the birth of Christ every woman and child was to go to be taxed at the city whereto they belonged, whither some had long journeys; but the middle of winter was not fitting for such a business, especially for women with child, and children to travel in. Therefore, Christ could not be born in the depth of winter. Again, at the time of Christ’s birth, the shepherds lay abroad watching with their flocks in the night time; but this was not likely to be in the middle of winter. And if any shall think the winter wind was not so extreme in these parts, let him remember the words of Christ in the gospel, ‘Pray that your flight be not in the winter.’ If the winter was so bad a time to flee in, it seems no fit time for shepherds to lie in the fields in, and women and children to travel in.”
Makes sense to me..Christ Death and Sacrifice is extremely important to True Christians not his Birth.
