I just graduated from Jr. college with an *** in Accounting. My question is, can I work from home or my only choice is to work for a firm?

You need a job you didn't learn enough in school to work alone.

I didn't see a lot of opportunities for working from home straight out of school when I started, but there may be more now. A small local firm might have more flexibility with something like that than a large firm. I would recommend starting with a firm or corp, making some connections and seeing what's out there. It may lead to work-at-home opportunities, or you may find an office environment that you like.

You need to figure out how to get the additional education and work experience you need to become a CPA. You are only on the first step of the ladder.
