My FIL uses Netzero for internet...any photos he receives on email are distorted to a mosaic looking quality..

when he downloads pics from a camera or card, the pics are ok. just when he downloads from the internet, they are distorted. any ideas? He does have a faster dial-up service....not dsl. Thanks....

Ask him to send himself a picture and see if the same thing happens. This may help the Netzero folks identify the problem.

Then have him use a cel phone or second phone line and call Netzero while he's at his computer. There are lots of possible causes but they should be able to figure it out with him.
