If the U.S. did not have a strong military would the Mexican army, along with the armies of Central and South America send their troops across the border and try and take what we have?

Hey Sub, just because you didn't ask this question doesn't mean it doesn't have some validity. By the way, I was an AW for 6 years.

Hey Bad, what Canada is going to come to our rescue, Europe too? Good luck. We'd be on our own.

"IF" we had a weak or no army, Mexico would certainly retake the south west, including Texas. They could correctly calculate that the international community would likely see it as a reclaimation of previously held territory.

There isn't a prosperous country in the world that can afford not to protect itself.

No they would not. The days of open conquest are over. When one country invades another without a reason, most other countries condemns the action and will join together to drive that nation out. The United States, in fact, is no exception. Other nations HAVE banded together to drive the US out of Iraq and Afghanistan... they just have not been very successful. That was just an example, but it happens. The invasion of Kuwait by Iraq is another example.

I highly doubt it. They are not anywhere near powerful enough themselves. Plus, I read somewhere the average American owns 6.8 guns, with something like 2,000 rounds of ammo. I can't remember the exact numbers, but I think that was close to the article I read. Honestly, any army would pay hell trying to take it from us.

I think they would? Perhaps they would because we may have developed the Fuhooka device with all the money saved. It is a deivce that prevents people from asking insanely unanswerable or unplausible questions.

AW, oohhh you make me shiver! lol, still are dumb question!
