I was mostly thinking of converting to Catholicism because it was the same as my ancestors. but I hear they think Jesus was a manifestion of god that put me off a bit. Anyway could you tell me the names of the biggest christian sects

If you can call it a sect, the Catholic Church is the largest in the world.
Jesus was not a manifestation he was for real.

As for sects there are far too many sects and break away organisations calling themselves Christians to count.Most of them founded by discontented former Christians who wanted to go their own way.

There are only two sides. Those who preach the Pauline gospel of blood for sin... (they see Jesus as God)...

and those who accept the Original Kingdom Gospel that Jesus himself was preaching.

In the second (the original) Jesus wanted people to think of God as THEIR OWN Loving Heavenly Father.

umm, all except for about 2 believe Jesus is God. (they don't believe He was a manifestation, they believe He IS God)


the two that don't believe Jesus is God are Jehovah's witness and unitarianism
