The worm problem is an easy fix, just go to the animal supply and buy some worm med and give with food. The new med is liquid and dogs don't mind the flavor! As for worming your dog ever 8 weeks.. NO.. NO..NO. You should not worm an animal unless it has worms ( look in the poop) and if you have re-occurring worms this animal should be vetted. The worm meds are poison and should not be given to healthy dogs. If the animal has cysts it should be seen by a vet. This advice is for a pet and not breeder animals that are in close quarters.

Take the dog to the vet for deworming. He will test the feces to determine the kind of worms and what medicine is needed. Over the counter products do not work.
Cysts are a different concern all together. A vet needs to look at these too to determine if they are abscesses, cancerous or benign tumors or bites.

Go to the vet. Have them do a fecal to determine what type of worms your dog has and they will then administer the aproproate de-wormer.

depending on how bad the worms are and what type, ground up raw (and not salted) pumpkin seeds with cottage cheese will help. Dogs generally love the stuff, and it won't hurt him. Use about a tablespoon of seeds ground up with the cottage cheese. maybe 1/2 cup. you don't need a lot of cottage cheese, it's just to help them eat it.
pills from the vet will also work. good luck!

no, the dog needs to be taken to the vet, a stool sample obtained and the parasites identified and then treated accordingly -- different parasites require different treatment and since you can't identify the parasite, then you can't treat them... or let them be neglegent and allow the dog to be without proper medical care... turn the dog in to the shelter if that is the case so it can be humanely killed or treated...
