You will eventually discover that if you argue with your family you have already lost. Ask yourself afterwards "was it worth it?"
Bet inwardly you say no, so you have all lost.

Arguments with ones family do not have to be won. In fact a wise man once told me regarding arguments in general. It is better to be kind than right.

Discuss rationally what the reason for the argument is. It is likely that your family cares for you and is worried that something will happen to hurt you. Discuss this fear and be rational about the difference and suggest a compromise which is a little more than half way. You might be surprised.

i don't argue with my family apart from with my hubby (no winning in this one,gosh!neither did he).
my mum & i talk "loud" to each other if there was a "thing" because both us got the same sort of temper. but we get on very well, and normally we forget about it short after the moment.
