There is this one part about "lukewarm" in Revelation. It implied your better off to pick a side and stick to it then be a fence sitter.

Yes the Bible does give you a choice to serve God or not, in both the Old Testiment & the New.
In the OT, Joshua the 24th chapter and the 15th verse, it shows how God gave his a people a choice to serve him or idol (man made gods) or the idols of another race of people. In the NT, St.John the 7th chapter and the 17th verse, it tell you can choose to do the will of God or not. (smile)

De 30:19 - "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, that you and your descendants might live!
May God Bless You!

Joshua 24:15
15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
John 3:16
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 1:18-23
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

The Bible doesn't really talk much about the atheistic point of view. Why would it? Since there was no question about God's existence to the people who wrote it.

And god choses us :)
Act 13:17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.

He that rejecteth [Jesus] me, and receiveth not my words,
hath one that judeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last days. John 12:48.

There is a whole Parable about that... The Prodigal Son. The son CHOSE to leave his Father... and when things got rough, he remembered the wealth of his own heavenly Father and that turned him around.
So we choose to leave and we choose to go back home. It's a natural process.
