Hello Joan glad to see you didn't curl up and die after all. Can you please tell me what form your celebrations take for Michaelmas and why it takes so long to plan for? This must be an English custom and being up here in a Highland Glen in Scotland I am not acquainted with it.

Of course -got to keep ahead of things ! September is only 9 months away !
I've also got all my cards and wrapping paper for Christmas 2008 and some presents from the NEXT sale

Does that mean we have all year to plan for it?? To tell you the truth, that is my first time ever hearing of it before just now. But from what I read, it's during the fall equinox...and this is the winter solstice...
