i think you have to believe, if you truly believe that there is heaven and or hell...just as if egyptians really believed there was an afterlife, there would be for them...because they believed in that. plus the fact it is stated in the bible :)

no the bible does not say that literal hell is the core of this earth either it is just assumed to mean this by well meaning but not very educated christians .. hell has only a few words its interpeted from and almost every time it refers to a palce of death , for instanc first read these two new testameant account using the word hell.... James 3:6
The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. he!he!he!he he!, now friend if hell is actually at the earths core explain the use of it in this text ??
James 3:5-7 (in Context) James 3 (Whole Chapter)
2 Peter 2:4 also in this next text concerning fallen angels are tey actually confined to dark dungeons in hell then ? if they be confined in dark dungeons they sure would not be able to roam the earth causing all kinds of destruction here.. no or yes? i found this intriging a little while ago searching the web i try to see if i can put a link in here ,, i am not all that talented with computers.-----------
For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;
2 Peter 2:3-5 (in Context) 2 Peter 2 (Whole Chaptereath or the grave for instance read this ---Hell in the Bible
The word “hell” is used 54 times in the Bible. It is translated from several different words with various meanings, as indicated below:
In the Old Testament:
31 times from the Hebrew “Sheol,” which means
“the grave”
In the New Testament:
10 times from the Greek “Hades,” which means
“the grave”
12 times from the Greek “Gehenna,” which means
“a place of burning”
1 time from the Greek “Tartarus,” which means
“a place of darkness”
well i cant copy or paste it but i found it at -----------------------------helltruth.com--Hey check out this website that's shows what the Bible says about Hell. It's called helltruth.com and it answers questions like 'Does hell burn forever', 'Is the devil in charge of hell' and others. I think you'll find it as eye-opening as I did.

Evidence has to be solid data. Since there is no way to prove this (unless your actually there) then no. And the Bible talks in parables, it doesn't actually mean in the core of hell, its just used to give it a location. Nothing religious (including Atheism) can be proven or disproven

It's not in the center of the earth.
when it says "brought down to hell" or things of that matter, it's just saying that we, humans, are in the middle. Heaven is better than us, so it's higher and hell is worse than us so it's lower. It's not a phyical location in the earth they're just lower on the chain.
Like when people say "He'll be brought down from his high place" then don't mean taking him physically to a lower elevation level.

In short, no.
In fact, given that hell is supposed to contain a lake of sulfur, and that we know the core of the earth is solid (by modelling the movement of shock waves through it), there is evidence *against* a hell as described in the Bible.

There are stories from reputable sources such as National Enquirer and the like about miners and drilling crews who have heard the screams of torment and agony coming from deep shafts so, gosh, it must be true. Plus there are so many people belive they are real that they just have to, don't they?

No, I have not seen any evidence to support the existence of any heaven or hell.

Not a shred of evidence. Some people believe that they exist. They have every right to believe what they choose to believe, but belief is not evidence.

There is no evidence, but that doesn't mean you should not believe in Christ Jesus as the payment on the cross for your sins.
I was raised Christian, and found out that I didn't really know the Lord. The Holy Spirit had not come yet. One day I decided to pray to God to reveal himself to me in the name of Jesus. I found myself crying one night because my sins on cross killed Jesus. All the times I went to church I never really had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ to wash away my sins.
