Take a photograph if you can and then appeal to the county council.

And if a handicapped individual were authentic at the back of, the place might he/she have parked? Sorry, she occupied the area, which she had no authentic to do. No excuses allowed, and have self belief me, the court docket has heard all of them. it fairly is a valid cost ticket and she or he would be waiting to might desire to pay it. She might desire to have stopped further away, like different in a position-bodied human beings do, and the lot of you will possibly desire to have walked the extra few yards. And if there have been no different parking spots, which many times basically occurs at Christmas, she might have dropped you off on the side highway, or at a loading zone, I wager there replaced right into a sort of.

Yes it is legal.

In any car park, whether it is privately owned or run by the local authority, you are required to park with all four wheels inside a marked bay.

Any vehicle not in a marked bay can legitimately be ticketed or clamped (so you were actually quite lucky...).

Depends on the laws in the location. If being in a box is required, then you were in violation.

Consider going after the car park manager. They should never have taken your payment if they could not provide a legal parking space to you, the implicet agreement is that providing you a space is the service for which you are charged. If there were no available spaces, they should never have allowed entry.

Yes, if you were parked in a non marked space, you got a legitimate ticket. You wouldn't need a sign to tell you things that are obvious.

The company that operates the car park sets the rules. Contact them as soon as you can and explain, although sadly I doubt if they'll be compassionate. They have to make a profit too and they will probably point you at the small print somewhere. I got one once in similar circumstances. Sorry, I know this doesn't help really.

The depth of cluelessness here continues to amaze me.

You say yourself that you parked outside of a parking space. That's your clue that you were parked illegally. The white lines defining spaces ARE YOUR SIGNS.

check the sign and the machine, if it says as part of the conditions that all vehicles ,ust be parked in the marked bays, then it will be easier to just pay up

i live in Essex, and while i was listening to local radio, something came on about parking tickets ,they said that if you think you are fifty fifty in the right ,you should always appeal, they said in most cases you would win ,,,,not like if you were on double yellows, then it is a penalty fine.so make sure you appeal against the ticket ...hope this helps,,,,,by the way the were talking ,i think you have a good chance of winning ,,,good luck

unfortunately in a private car park or a council owned one the parking bays have to be clearly marked... if you were not in the parking bay then you get a ticket... fighting it is futile im afraid.......

You will possibly have to pay up! However, send them a photocopy of your parking ticket and ask them to re-imburse you with the amount paid. They took money from you and did not provide you with a service. Get your money back.....out of principle!
