Does saying that the Jews control the media in North America make me anti-semite with all my continious support and respect to the religion Judaism?
If I simiply become an anti-semite for saying one thing that I don't even see offensive makes me an anti-semite then I just now knew that your claim that everybody is anti-semite is false.
You guys love to see people hate you.
You like to call everybody anti-semite and you use the word randomly at anybody without thinking of what the word means.
I have been using this section for about 5 months and I have never never never insulted Judaism as a relgion. I always said it is a great religion. I read about it more than I read about my own religion. And now simiply because I said that it is a common belief that the Jews control the media in north america, I am being called anti-semite.
Thank you so much for being so nice with me. Thank you for showing me how open minded and loving you are.
Peace

Sammy,
If I talk in particular, I would be convicted of calling people's names in particular and then my post would be chat and gets reported. It is getting reported anyways I know that.
You are right, the Jews have so much power of the media maybe I should have said that. But you know what? I don't see a difference between saying the Jews control the media and the Jews have a lot of power over the media. They look like synonyms to me so I prefer to say the statement that I hear more often.
Peace

Mimi: Do you hate Jews? NO Do you wish for Israel to blow up and go away?NO Then you are not anti-Semite.
It is DEMOCRACY to have the freedom to criticize any political system that we choose without fear of going to jail or the fear of being hated.
It is Peace when you wish that both sides would stop fighting and accept each other so that both can co-exist. Don't let anything else come in your mind. Peace.

No. Telling the truth doesn't make you anti-Semitic. But Rupert Murdoch is not Jewish. I have been studying the power of people of the Jewish faith for some time now, and they do in fact control, individually, much wealth and power, including media, in the USA, and other parts of the world too, especially given their proportionally small population.
And I am not Jewish, but I congratulate them on their efforts, as they deserve every bit of wealth and power that they have. And my opinion has nothing to do with any past or present persecutions that they may have suffered.
What has happened is that they have learned a lot over the centuries, and one is to have wealth and power that is "transportable". And that comes from their emphasis on knowledge.

Actually, I have no idea of how much influence Jewish people have over the media. Just as a point of information, not as an argument, can you tell me what you're referring to? For example, do they own newspapers and TV networks?

I live in North America too and I have certainly never heard this supposedly widespread belief that Jews control the media. I think it's interesting because although you are stereotyping, you are actually putting Jews in a position of power in your rant so I'm not sure that it can be classified as antisemitic. What you are doing however is using inflammatory language and phrasing (i.e. you sound angry), which is why you are getting so many negative responses. The stereotyping is probably not helping either - people don't generally like to be heaped together in one big category - especially when they don't believe it to be true.

Well, yeah...its undoubtedly a common belief amongst anti-semites...which, I suspect, may provide the answer to your rather misplaced indignation.
