I had a dream a couple of days back in which I had sex with one of my male friends. However, our relationship in real life is 100% platonic & I want it to be that way only. But that sex dream is driving me crazy & I've been infatuating endlessly about him all the time. And I feel uncomfortable meeting him & don't want to be sending him those kind of signals.

Please help me, how can I get over this feeling...I've tried my best to ignore the feelings..but I simply can't. Please help!

You seem to have a stong desire to have a close intimate relationship, and he seems to be an easy target to be used in your dreams to represent this. Having the dream affect you so strongly when awake, is not so good. One can dream all sorts of things when asleep, and no serious consequences will result. But in the real world one must be more careful. Meditation works well for dealing with feelings. The same energy used in being infatuated, can be channelled into other areas of interest to you or other areas requiring commitment. Exercise can also eat up some of that energy. Of course a relationship with the right person could work too, but one does not want to rush into one of these too quickly, out of to much desire for one.

You want to explore your relationship with this man but you want to control the outcome, because the relationship now has not completely satisfied you hint the act of sex which is one leading towards satisfying the senses. You are also trying out different role models/functions for him to try one like clothing, now that you have seen him naked, you also are projecting this fear of exposure or being naked to him as a result of the fantasy of sexual fulfillment that you wishfully manipulated in your dream or that you think his powers over you might just manipulate your present relationship with him.
I take it you believe you believe you have always been honest with your male friend, if you believe this to be the case simply think about asking him if he has ever fantasized about you sexually. you will then know weather you are ready to move on to a different level of relationship with him or at the least trust your and his maturity level for honesty. I think you might find he values you just as much as you value him.

think of it as just a meaningless dream not a possibility... tell your friend about the dream and have some laughs...
