the most important thing is that you love God, so keep on that and try to search honestly for the truth.
i was asked before why do people revert to islam. i would like to share you a part of my answer, hoping that it will reveal some ambiguity

assume that you bought a new electrical device that you don't know how to operate. what is the best way to get all of its benefits???

there are 2 ways, either try and error (which is the hard and dangerous way) or to read the manual that the manufacturer wrote.
i recommend reading the manual. this will give you the whole benefit and avoid any damage to the device or you or the surrounding environment. Note that the manual contains "don't" & "do" lists.

consider this example when you are thinking about the universe, earth, etc..., and specifically our social life. Where is the correct manual to run the whole life correctly. it is a holy book that God (the cereator of this universe) has sent it to us. this can be found in one of the three religions jew, chrestianity, and islam. it is up to you to choose one of them, but i recommend islam for many reasons.

a) it has the only holy book that contains alot of information about scientific facts, social rules, stories and advices about ancestors, a perfect guidance for our life, what you should do to go to heaven and what you shouldn't to avoid hell, etc....

b) it has a clear, obvoius and unabridged interpretation through the Sunna (it is what our prophet Muhammad had said or done)

c) a prove for its correctness is when early muslims followed it exactly, they made one of the greatest civilisations (in all fields) in histroy, and in a very short time.

d) there are many other reasons, but i think these are enough for now.

sorry for the long introduction, but i felt it is necessary to show my point of view

if you are still feeling that islam is the correct choice, you have to make some effort to find the truth:

1- check the sites mentioned in the above answers

2- try to get a trusted translated copy of the quran. check the nect site

http://qurancomplex.org/default.asp?l=eng

3- try to discus islam with someone who already reverted to islam. i'm sure he/she will have good points to discuss

4- if you found some answers are interesting try to make contact with the writer to get more information

don't get bored :-) be honest in your search and i'm sure God will help you

may God help us to worship him in the way
he want

Salam :) I'm a Muslim youngster residing in Canada. I put on hijab alhamdullilah and it is for essentially the most side authorized right here considering i are living in a massive town with a vast Muslim populace. I do get the few ignorant feedback and idiots at college even though who ask stuff like "yo bought a bomb below there hahaha". But the toughest side is being special out of your peers. Being a Muslim, events, alcohol relationship boys dressed in revealing apparel and so forth is haram, and at the same time I do not desire to do this besides, it may be a bit of awkward to ought to provide an explanation for why I do not do it to men and women who recollect it only a side of being a teen and its natural to them. Muslims residing in Muslim international locations most likely have it less complicated in the case of becoming in. And with meals it may be a bit of difficult however I continuously attempt to learn the label if I'm no longer certain of the elements. But I would not wanna be some other faith regardless of how tricky it will get and the way special I suppose from all people else, I'm completely satisfied to be Muslim :)

Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hello. I am glad you are interested in Islam. I became a Muslim about 14 years ago by Allah's Grace and it is the best thing I have ever done.

Your question is very broad so I think the best thing I can do is refer you to a good website that offers a wealth of information on Islam. The link is below.

The most important thing to know is that Allah is One. Islam is strictly monotheistic and all worshippers have a direct line to Him with no intercessors. Ask Him and He will guide you to the Truth. You are welcome to contact me off the board with any specific questions.

May Allah guide you to the best in this world and the next. Ameen.

Fi Aman Allah,

Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

Yep, Islam is a good choice and don't listen to other people. Anyways, Islam is very peaceful religion and Allah will reward if you converted to Islam. I mean Islam is so peaceful and there is no bad things like drugs, doing wrong things like that. Islam teaches you to do the right thing. Then you will go to heaven.

Why would you convert to anything if you don't know what and who you believe in? Because your "very" confused, I would not convert to Islam because your 'partner" is muslim. Most people tend to have an upbringing in which religion is forced upon us, so I would suggest trying all of them for a short period of time. That is no more than a couple of weeks. Then learn as much as you can about each, and see which one you like the most. This is a free country and you do have a choice, but CHOOSE WISELY.

Hi there . Please do not be confused. After I have read a lot of suggestions from yahoo members I would say you better turn to your parents.Remember your parents raise you for 17 years now and at the moment they still support you right ?If you have any question or any problem just talk to your parents.Your parents are the best people to turn to.If they do not love you and care for you they would abort you 17 years ago.
Just turn to your parents !!!!!

Even after the incident of 911 in New Yorkl, Islam is the fastest growing religion in USA, though on Yahoo Answer and in entire press of America false and negative propaganda against Islam is broadcasted every day. There has to be a good reason. And reason is that Islam is the only True religion there is. Here is an article written by a scholar with Ph.D in Islamic Studies.

Its wat ur heart finds right. U can get more info about islam from ur partner or try checking out www.islamdoor.com or www.muhajabah.com. We Muslims also believe in Jesus, we just dont believe that he died on the cross. We believe that God saved him that pain and torture and put his enemy on there instead, although i forgot his name. How could Jesus have died for our sins when he died so long ago when we didn't even do a sin? The Bible has many authors while the Quran has one, God himself. I'm not bashing anyone's religion. So, just think it over. Do what u think is right.
