why/ why not? Is there a reason? Personal experience? And why are there more women who believe in it then men?

ofcourse i believe that superstition exists. there are superstieaus people i know. for instance one that knocks three times on the table when she says that she doesnt have an influenza virus yet. the knocking is a ritual , if she doesnt do it she believes she will get the influenza.

I think superstition is nonsense because my logic and experience tells me there's nothing magical about cause and effect. I have no idea why women may be more superstitious. Got a source on that?

No I do not believe in superstition. I stepped on tons of cracks and my mothers back is fine :-))

No. It is silly to think if you break a mirror you'll have bad luck for seven years, that if you walk under a ladder something will happen, etc.. There is no evidence to correlate that any of that is true. I won't live my life being afraid of shadows.

no, i dont believe in superstition, but i do believe in karma...it even SOUNDS more appealing doesnt it?

what intrigues me that those "beliefs" survived til now...
