Joachim and Anne are believed to have given Mary to the service of the Second Temple when the girl was three years old. Many theologians believe that the priests of the Second Temple (and other churches) performed sacred rituals on these virgin girls who were in their service. These sacred rituals were nothing more than sexual intercourse. Evidence of this can be found in todays catholic society were the priests molested the young boys... Maybe this is how Mary became pregnant... I rest my case...

lisa c : she went into service at the age of three, this does not mean the rituals happend at that age, she could have been 12 or 16 by the time it started but they most probably prepared her for it...

Mary is only the most recent of characters who have been said to have been virgins who gave birth to gods. Oddly enough, nearly all of their names begin with "M", and all of the elements of the various accounts of virgin births have their roots in astronomy.
Here is a video on the subject - it addresses the story of Mary and the subject of virgin births in general:

Once you check it all out, you might come to the realization that it is highly unlikely that Mary existed.

Mary was not a Catholic. Some pretty strange theories have evolved from some pretty obscure texts. All have been tested and found to be totally unsubstantiated. Only those ancient texts proved to be authentic have been included in the bible, whilst some which are not proven but may have some validity have been included in the apochrypha. Whatever 'some theologians', believe they have not been respected enough to form a valid argument and their work has been disregarded as the trash it is :)

You "believe" Mary was given to the service of the Second Temple..."Many theologians", whom you did not name. You have no sources and you started your argument with an assumption that you cannot prove and now you have rested your case.
Very good research and case presentation.

How are you dumb enough to believe Catholic sources of Jewish rituals? Weren't you aware that the Catholic Church made up a lot of crap like this to fuel pogroms?
Why not try Jewish sources of Jewish rituals, such as the Talmud or concurrent Jewish writings?

What is now considered vile - paedophilia - was acceptable back then.
There is no God, so at best Jesus was the most famous chippie in history.
