You store up treasure in Heaven by honoring God when you invest the time, talents, and treasures that He has made you a steward of in supporting Christ's Kingdom work here on earth.

Matthew 6:19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also....31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to Godthis is your spiritual act of worship.

1 Corinthians 12:4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. 7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.

2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: "He has scattered abroad his gifts to the poor; his righteousness endures forever." 10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.

Paul wrote: “God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love you showed for his name.” (Hebrews 6:10) Yes, God remembered all their faithful works, storing them in his limitless memory. We are reminded of Jesus’ exhortation to store up treasures in heaven. No thief can steal these treasures; no moth or rust can consume them. (Matthew 6:19-21) In fact, these treasures can be destroyed only if a Christian shrinks back to destruction. That would squander any treasures he had stored up in heaven. What a powerful reason Paul gave the Hebrew Christians for never pursuing such a course! Why waste all their years of faithful service? It would be right and far better to keep on enduring.
Paul knew that the influence of the world would affect those taking up the Christian course. So he constantly gave them sound admonition. He knew that the early Christians who were seeking God’s kingdom were walking properly and so he said, ‘You are walking the right way.’ But he urged them to do it more fully. There was a little slipping on their part and he knew that eventually this would lead to others’ doing the same thing until the material riches of this world would become more attractive than the spiritual riches. Paul knew, as Jesus had taught, that where the heart of a Christian was, there his treasure would be. But if the Christian no longer tried to store up treasures in heaven, then that one would have begun to store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust would begin to corrupt. A person who wants to be pleasing to God and seek life-sustaining words and turn to God. He must ‘serve God with a complete heart.’

through works.

Which works?
Feeding the hungry, giving water to the thirsty, helping the stranger, clothing the naked, visiting the sick, visiting those in prison (Matthew 25:35-36).
To physically do all the above is certainly commendable. However there is a deeper spiritual work that is infinitely more important.
Feed the hungry:
Provide people with a knowledge of Christ because Christ is the bread from heaven that gives eternal life (John 6:51).
Give water to the thirsty:
The Holy Spirit is the living water, the only water that can completely satisfy the thirst. Disciples of Christ will become conduits of the living water (John 7:38).
Helping the stranger:
We should have hospitality to all without grudging (1 Peter 4:9). We should even love our enemies (Luke 6:27).
Clothing the naked:
If you convert someone to Christ you are making it possible for them to be clothed with white linen. White linen is symbolic of the righteousness of the saints (Revelation 19:8).
Visiting the sick:
We should eat with sinners and bring them to salvation. They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick (Matthew 9:11-12, Mark 2:16-17, Luke 5:30-32).
Visiting those in prison:
In today's world many people lack direction and see no purpose in their life. Their life is their prison. Provide people with the truth. The truth will set them free (John 8:32).
Do this and Christ can say of you: “For I was hungry and you gave me meat. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you took me in. Naked and you clothed me. I was sick and you visited me. I was in prison and you came unto me” (Matthew 25:35-36).
“…inasmuch as you did it unto the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me” (Matthew 25:40”

By making a good name for yourself with God, which is achieved through living an obedient life in accordance with his laws and standards as set forth by the Bible, by zealously obeying Jesus' command (Matthew 28:19, 20) to preach to others regarding the good news of God's Kingdom and the benefits it will shortly bring to mankind, and exercising faith in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

By doing the will of God, and literally, whenever we suffer harm, to not pay it back to someone.

If there is a balance which God sees, then let it be balanced towards good, meaning: Repay bad with Good!

That's what Jesus also told us!

By doing good things for the sake of love and asking nothing in return (and, ideally, keeping them secret).

Simple, do the will of G-d, not try to do anything which He would disapprove of. Micah said it best; :Do Justly, Love Mercy and walk humbly with the L-rd, your G-d.
