I'm graduating in May with my undergrad in political science and am curious to how competitive it is to get into the school.

I understand factors such as GPA and fields of interest are important, but is there any other information or insight anyone could provide. I plan on meeting with a recruiter soon by the way. Thank you in advance for your answers!

extremely. you are competing against civilians as well as enlisted personnel who already have time served.

a degree in PS is actually NOT what the Navy is looking for, although that doesn't mean you have zero chance. depending on your extracurricular and leadership activities you can bring to the table, you may be competitive for a slot.

Took my husband 4 years enlisted with a BS in Math and two submissions before he was picked up
