Nobody knows for sure.

But I know I will be in Heaven with God. I am a Christian.

You are correct in that the burden of proof does not go one way or the other. So to be on the safe side let's say there is..

It is true that in this life we know there are places for punishment and places for reward. Also there are many worshipers of God and yes others who worship the devil.

To answer that question one must go to the source. Is it real? Is the Bible a real book? Is the Bible filled with examples that covered 4,000 years of human history accurate? Did God create man with an eternal soul? Can the places where a lot of the stories that took place in the Bible, an be found today? Did Jesus Christ preach the Gospel that included both hell and heaven? When Jesus went in the clouds he went to heaven.

All of the above descriptions are all true. Based on all of the above we know for sure that there are separate places for reward and punishment,

People say there is a hell, because in the bible it says there is a hell, and I could go on forever about why the Bible is true...

What we don't know is if Hell is actually like... what people describe Hell to be. People think that it's all fire-y and stuff, because it was described as "the lake of fire".

But really, that was only a metaphor of how it would feel. Hell is an "eternal separation from God". I believe that it isn't all... firey and stuff, because that's just a physical pain. I don't think that hell is a physical pain, because, it isn't on earth, and pain is really just an earthly thing. Unless we have our own bodies in Hell, but I don't think we do, I think it's the spirits that are in Hell.

Jesus referred to hell as the place where, "there would be weeping and nashing of teeth." Jesus also said, "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you."

Since God has given each person a free will to choose between right and wrong, and since each person knows in their heart that Jesus's words are true, then yes we can honestly say that heaven and hell do exist.

The question then becomes, "Do you know in your heart that you've acccepted Jesus and that you will go to the dwelling place in heaven that He's prepared for you when you die, or have you rejected God and opted for the place where there would be weeping and nashing of teeth?"

The choice is yours alone to make. Choose wisely.

I don't believe you can prove it scientifically one way or the other, because we cannot analyze it with physical instruments.

I do believe that if the evidence and logic we do have are honestly pursued, it will lead you down the path towards the Christian faith, and the Bible's claims. I've been on both sides, initially as an atheist and now as a Christian.

I actually asked God to show me what hell was like and I believe He did.
It was absolutely hell! In every since of the word.

First it was completely dark like outer space dark.
In fact it was like what I would imagine being stuck out in space would be like but with NO stars, no light, nothing!
And it was HOT! Insane heat. I kept trying to move but I could feel my body, I could feel pain though. If you ever had major surgery then you might know what it's like to be completely numb, yet still have the sensation of agony.
I wanted to get out of there at any cost, but I was positively stuck!
I tried crying out for help, but no voice, not even the sensation of vocal chords.
Then, just as I thought I would go crazy from shear panic; just out in front of me something from my past flashed in front of my eyes, as if it was a play on a stage. It was a scene of something I had done that I was very ashamed of, and I tried to yell out (with no success) and get someone's attention, but just as quickly as the image appeared it disappeared, and I was left feeling not only horrible because of where I was but now I'm
dealing with the feeling of shame of knowing that I can never undo what I have done in the past.

I can't tell you how grateful I was to realize that it had all been a dream.
Now, for those who want to keep believing that something this could ONLY be a dream; gee I wish I was as naive as you

do you want bible truth? here it goes. there is a hell, but not right now. the catholic church made this soul thing up to have control of you. if you don't do what we say your going to hell.
90% of the time hell in the bible is talking about the grave not a burning place. in revelations it says and God threw death and hell into the fire. how can you throw hell into hell???

hell is prepared for satan and his evil angels. and for us if we don't have a realtionship with God. but when you die you don't go straight to hell or heaven. you stay in the grave untill jesus calls your name. for example cain killed able, right?
so wehn cain died lets say he didn't repent and went straight to hell fire. and hitler killed all those millions of jews and when he died he went straight to hell,ok? so is it fair for cain to burn 6,000 years more then hitler?? so when GOD brings heaven back to earth and the wicked stand before him.. ok... cain we are judging you now and you must go to hell... he would say so i have been burning 6,000 yrs what more can you do.
the soul that sins shall surly die ez 18:4
where in the bible does it ever say the soul goes to heaven.
think about it

I believe Hell exists because it is in Scriptures. It is a real place of torment for the devil and his demons, and all mankind who has chosen to not believe in Jesus as Savior.

You have been warned. One day all you skeptics out there will know the truth, but then it will be too late.....

One man-made tradition is that "good people go to heaven when they die and bad people go to hell when they die."

This is taught generation after generation, parent to child, in hopes of scaring someone into being good. But, it doesn't work, does it?

Isn't it time we transcended the fables of childhood?

No one has gone to heaven except the Son of man (John 3:13).

And hell?

Where are the people who have died?

They are in their graves!

"Marvel not at this, for the hour is coming, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation" (John 5:28-29).

The King James "damnation" is from the Greek word "krisis" meaning separating and contesting.

The "contesting" takes place in a second physical life after the 1000 years. The vast majority of mankind is not being called now. They are neither lost nor saved.

Some of the ones who are "contesting" in the future will still not repent. And they will cease to exist. The ones who do repent will be given eternal life. The promise from God through Christ is eternal life, not heaven.

People in this life who have already repented will be given bodies that do not die (1 Corinthians 15:52-54). The same thing will happen to people called later. They will have their chance for salvation at that time. Most will embrace it and thereby secure eternal life for themselves.

Prove all things.

There's no proof for or against the existence of invisible pink unicorns either, but it wouldn't make any sense to believe in them, would it? I regard hell and heaven the same way.
