Why need salt or sugar when oranges are already sweet?

No, I've not eaten an orange with salt or sugar on them. I have done it with grapefruit though one time.

No I think they are tasty enough...especially at this time of year...I love them! I'm eating lots of oranges and satsumas right now because I have a cold and they make me feel better :)
