SOB.
Does this mean you are crying, or is it really what it is suppose to mean?
Did you get this idea about gold and what have you from a comic book?
God has no need for smart Alecs, bigshots or heros.
All God wants is obedience. Please Ceasar and obey God.
If you lack knowledge and do not know what to say I suggest you read the Bible or the dailys. Either one will help you catch up and help you step out of your dream.
But if you do not believe in God, I respect your beliefs.
You can suck whose ever nipples if you want to.
God Bless and God Speed.
I can take all that you can throw if you stick to Ethics, morals and constutional law.
Leave God out of this equation.
Spiritual subjects is on a higher
plateau.

As for being zombies that is pure bull shi*! If he wanted robots he wouldn't have given us the ability to sin etc. An eternity of serving a God that has enough imagination to create the diversity of life we see, the variety or people we see, man heaven will be fantiastic! I'll put my faith in God and Jesus that love us and take heaven, the destination with the narrow door. Maybe you can learn something today. Don Piper was declared dead in a head on car accident for 90 minutes. I love the part where the minister was singing a hymn after praying for him and he started to sing along... I guess the minister had some problems convincing the police and ambulance attendants that "the dead guy was singing".

Stay the way you are if you want. I'm sure Satan, that hates us and all God's creations, will have something for you to experience.

You are missing the point. All is a reward for the battle of living on this earth.
Read the Bible from the beginning with a open mind and then if it do not speak to your inner self then you can speak like this.
God's promises are not something we can scoff at.
It is easy to talk about something one do not know.
The Bible tell us that we will not know everything or understand everything but will receive what we need when we need it.
And that is also a promise.
But first read the Bible

Aren't we just gonna be turned into zombie-like beings who are programmed into just wanting to worship God and doing nothing else and be made to need Him like a puppy needs to suck on its mother's nipple for milk?
No, that's not what the Bible teaches.
Revelation 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
5 He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true." 6 He said to me: "It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.
7 He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liarstheir place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
Isaiah 25:6 On this mountain the LORD Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine the best of meats and the finest of wines. 7 On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; 8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. 9 In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation."
Click here http://contenderministries.org/romanroad.php and join the feast. Don't listen to the lies of the Devil and join that scoundrel in the Lake of Fire!
Revelation 20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

I think it is to show that things that were precious and valued on earth are a common commodity, we can build and walk on,
and that God values us so much that he would only surround us with the things we envisioned as worth the most.
Perhaps it was to inable us to envision that God has no limitations-he can produce the finest, and provide for us an afterlife style we had always dreamed of having.
I think the continuous praising mentioned in the Bible was not meant to mean that we would be mindlessly praising God because we were programed to. It means we are in Ecstasy and rapture, and all we want to do is praise his name. Kind of like calling out the name of your lover during an orgasm-only human experience I can think of to explain it.
Spending eternity surrounded in splendor having an eternal orgasm!!!- I've definitely heard of worse scenarios ha ha.

You totally missed the point.
The point is that God will use what we perceive as precious and valuable in common ways. Proving that it really doesn't have the value that we put on it.
The truly valuable thing is being part of the family of God and living there with Him.
Cheers

Who says there's mansions and streets of gold in heaven? Either way there's no heaven and when you die your body rots underground. Heaven/religion is a coping mechanism because humans can't deal with death. We're the only species that knows we're gonna die so we invented this flowery idea of heaven to ease our pain. I'm not against the idea, just saying I see through it.

you've got some issues dude! and going to heaven doesn't mean we're going to be a brainwashed zombie, it simply is there so our spirits can be in the presence, and love of god. and you shouldn't try to bash god like that, cuz, believe it or not he helped you when you needed it the most. you need to go to church, and get some sense.

Ok. First of all, we don't know what it is going to be like in heaven. 2nd of all, it shouldn't be a problem to you to sing and praise God because he died on the cross for us and no one on earth deserves the praises that we sing but him. Just wait and ask him!
