Deuteronomy 22:1 If you see your brother's ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to him. 2 If the brother does not live near you or if you do not know who he is, take it home with you and keep it until he comes looking for it. Then give it back to him. 3 Do the same if you find your brother's donkey or his cloak or anything he loses. Do not ignore it. 4 If you see your brother's donkey or his ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help him get it to its feet.

Yes, I sure can. First of all, christians ignore the meaning of that verse which must be read in context.

Lev 19:16 You shall not be a gossipmonger among your people, you shall not stand aside while your fellow's blood is shed. I am Hashem.

The word gossipmonger uses a word that means anything embarrassing, whether true or untrue.

Then it says we shall not stand aside while yoru fellow's blood is shed. Shedding blood equates to murder. Ezek 22:9 shows this.
"Talebearers were among you to shed blood"

Ezek 3:17-21 warns us about reproving

Son of Man, I have appointed you a sentinel for the House of Israel; when you hear a matter from My Mouth, you shall warn them on my behalf. When I say of a wicked one, "you shall surely die" and you do not warn him, and do not speak up to warn the wicked one converning his evil way, to save his life, then he, the wicked one, will die for his iniquity and I will demand his blood from your hand. But if you did warn the wicked one, yet he does not turn away from his wickedness and from his evil way, he will die for his iniquity. And as for you, you will have saved your soul.

And when a righteous person turns from his righteousness and acts corrupty and I place a stumbling block before him, he will die. Because you did not warn him he will die for his sin, and his righeousness that he did will not be remembered, and I will demand his blood for your hand

Keep in mind, the context here is gossipmongering/ talebearing which is equated to shedding blood which has a penalty of death.

Now on to Lev 19:17 You shall not hate your brother in your heart, you shall reprove your fellow and do not bear a sin because of him

Notice the proximity to gossipmongering. We are required to reprove people who do this or we are just as guilty.

You shall not take revenge and you shall not bear a grudge against the members of your people; you shall love your fellow as yourself - I am Hashem

Notice it says nothing at all about feeding the hungry, etc. It doesn't say any of this in adjacent verses. It has to do with what Jews call "Lashon Hara" or evil speech.

Now for a practical example:

When you hear on the news that someone allegedly committed a crime, that is breaking this commandment to not gossipmonger. It doesn't matter that it's true.

Or if you hear a friend talking badly about someone, you are obligated to ask that friend to stop or you are just as guilty of a sin punishable by death.

If you see someone in Yahoo answers speak badly about another person or group of people, you are obligated to say something.

It's a very difficult command to follow. And it has absolutely nothing to do with what christianity teaches. A simple reading in the English shows that.
