Firstly you are right up to a point about the interpretation. If you look at what was going on further afield around the time of Jesus and there after the answer may be clearer. It wasn`t just the romans who had trouble with the celtic people but those from the churches who were spreading the "news". Firstly we have to note the the Celts view on spirituality was much akin to paganism (who says this was wrong?) and similar to the Gnostic understandings. The celts for example, believed very much in the spirit who was, not only within but may even live in the same space but slightly different time as us. They would have indeed been comfortable with the view that Jesus had siblings but, the church would`ve had a harder time trying to convert than it actually did. If you look at the Catholic calender you will see that most of our festival/ saints days are on or about the old pagan ones. This was the only way to convince our Celtic fore fathers that the new message of Christ was indeed better or more nearer the truth than the ancient ways. Something that many are now maybe questioning. For me this doesn`t mean that my religion is wrong it just means I look on the interpretation differently now I am older. I find the rituals and ceremonies helpful and moving. This doesn`t mean I believe all other faiths to be wrong either.

The Bible dose mention the brothers and sisters of Jesus . The only debate is who are they- Modern Roamn Catholics say they are realy cousins- I would need to know about semetic kinship systems to know for sure if that is possible, but I can testify the native Arab speakers I know call every one brother and sister.
the Orthodox church states that Joseph was older than marry and had been married before-had chidlern with his first wife who had died- and he died some time when Jesus was a teenager. Protestants will claim the childern are mary's despite the fact no passage in the bible states that they are, as mary's virginity and the biography of Jesus being Jame's mary's step son has been around for centuries I will go with that story.

No, and here is why...
V. Jesus' "Brothers" (adelphoi)) = Cousins or Kinsmen
Luke 1:36 - Elizabeth is Mary's kinswoman. Some Bibles translate kinswoman as "cousin," but this is an improper translation because in Hebrew and Aramaic, there is no word for "cousin."
Luke 22:32 - Jesus tells Peter to strengthen his "brethren." In this case, we clearly see Jesus using "brethren" to refer to the other apostles, not his biological brothers.
Acts 1:12-15 - the gathering of Jesus' "brothers" amounts to about 120. That is a lot of "brothers." Brother means kinsmen in Hebrew.
Acts 7:26; 11:1; 13:15,38; 15:3,23,32; 28:17,21 - these are some of many other examples where "brethren" does not mean blood relations.
Rom. 9:3 - Paul uses "brethren" and "kinsmen" interchangeably. "Brothers" of Jesus does not prove Mary had other children.
Gen. 11:26-28 - Lot is Abraham's nephew ("anepsios") / Gen. 13:8; 14:14,16 - Lot is still called Abraham's brother (adelphos") . This proves that, although a Greek word for cousin is "anepsios," Scripture also uses "adelphos" to describe a cousin.
Gen. 29:15 - Laban calls Jacob is "brother" even though Jacob is his nephew. Again, this proves that brother means kinsmen or cousin.
Deut. 23:7; 1 Chron. 15:5-18; Jer. 34:9; Neh. 5:7 -"brethren" means kinsmen. Hebrew and Aramaic have no word for "cousin."
2 Sam. 1:26; 1 Kings 9:13, 20:32 - here we see that "brethren" can even be one who is unrelated (no bloodline), such as a friend.
2 Kings 10:13-14 - King Ahaziah's 42 "brethren" were really his kinsmen.
1 Chron. 23:21-22 - Eleazar's daughters married their "brethren" who were really their cousins.
Neh. 4:14; 5:1,5,8,10,14 - these are more examples of "brothers" meaning "cousins" or "kinsmen."
Tobit 5:11 - Tobit asks Azarias to identify himself and his people, but still calls him "brother."
Amos 1: 9 - brotherhood can also mean an ally (where there is no bloodline).

The Bible does mention them. James was his brother. The parentage of these brothers is debated because some churches say that Mary and Joseph never had marital relations. In order to promote an eternal virginity for Mary some say these other children were from a former marriage of Joseph. Even Isalm teaches she was a virgin the rest of her life.

It is believed that Jesus had biological brothers and sisters. They are mentioned in the New Testament. His brother James was an early Christian leader in Jerusalem.

Jesus had 4 brothers mentioned specifically by name in the scripture. The Bible says he had "sisters". So, Mary/Joseph had @ least a total of 7 children.

Depends on the translation. Yes Jesus had brothers and sisters (Mary and Joseph's children). At least one was an Apostle (James, Gal 1:19). Most of the references listed below speak of Jesus brethren. They also distinguish between the disciples and the brethren. I guess if you say that his brothers and sisters mean of the faith then when it says "his mother, brothers and sisters" it means Mary was not his mother either.

Yes, the bible says so;
Mat 13:55-56 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
There are other refrences and the books of James & Jude were written by his brothers.
Why do people say things based on opinion & not on truth. The teaching of Mary & Joseph never having sex or children is a false doctrin that a perverse pope made up & contradicts God's word. Who is right the pope or the bible?

It depends on how you look at it. Technically Jesus was not the son of Joseph or Mary but a manifestation of the Holy Spirit and so had no earthly parents in the sense of genetics. However, Mary and Joseph had several other children of whom James was one. It would be more akin to half brothers or adopted brothers than a full blood relative.

Do you remember the passage in the Bible where the apostles says to Jesus, "your mother and your brother and sister are waiting to see you outside", and Jesus replied , pointing towards all the apostles and disciples and said," these are my mother, bothers and sisters. Whoever does my Father's will are my mother ,brothers , and sisters".
