I seem to have a lot of duplicate files on my PC - predominantly photographs. Does anybody know of a bit of software that highlights apparently duplicate files? I know that I could just do a search on everything and then see where there was a duplicate file name and see if the size was the name, etc, etc, but it would be really useful if something could do all that for me - perhaps comparing the file content too.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Alan

If these are in the same folder, it would be impossible to have same names so I am assuming you have them in a mixture of folders. Only thing I can think of is to have folder windows open side by side and methodically go through them. They will in any event be in alphabetical order, or if you view in thumbnail you can see.
